Topic: Investigating the use of AI driven misinformation by

state actors in conflict zones
The Republic of Poland is very concerned about the increasing use of
AI-powered misinformation by governments in conflict areas. These
advanced technologies allow quick creation and spread of false
stories, deepfake videos, and altered content that aim to weaken
societies, reduce trust in institutions, and increase conflict.
Poland believes that fighting this threat needs thorough investigation
and international cooperation. We support setting up independent,
global groups to monitor, study, and expose AI-based misinformation.
It is important that countries and civil society share information
openly and quickly to respond effectively.
Poland also calls for clear international laws that define and punish
the harmful use of AI for spreading false information during conflicts.
Governments that use AI in this way should be held responsible for
actions that endanger peace and security.
Additionally, Poland encourages investing in new technologies and
education programs that help people and governments recognize
and resist AI-driven misinformation.
By acting quickly and working together, the world can protect
truthful information, support democracy, and promote stability in
conflict zones.
Poland is ready to work with all countries to support these goals.
