🎬 Opening
[Background Music: Upbeat instrumental – fade as hosts enter]
Host A:
Good morning, good afternoon, or good luck depending on which teacher’s class you just came
from!
Host B:
(Laughs) Whether your brain’s still in math mode or trying to decode Shakespeare, welcome to a
celebration that requires zero homework and 100% energy!
Host A:
Today, we honour eight incredible students – the toppers of their subjects – the ones who’ve turned
notebooks into goldmines and pens into magic wands!
Host B:
So buckle up – this isn’t your regular slow clap ceremony. It’s time for applause, amusement, and
maybe a surprise or two!
🎉 Ice-breaker Game: “Guess Who – School Edition” (10 mins)
Host A:
Let’s warm up with a quick game. We’ll describe a teacher or a funny school moment – and you
guess who or what we’re talking about!
Host B (dramatic voice):
“This teacher can make the Pythagoras Theorem sound like a bedtime story…”
[Audience shouts answers]
(5 such clues, increasing in difficulty)
Host A:
Winners get… drumroll… the chance to walk 3 feet closer to the snacks table later.
Host B:
And bragging rights for the rest of the week!
🏆 Felicitation Rounds (5 mins each x 8 students) – 40 mins
Each student gets:
A brief intro from hosts
A walk to stage (music cue)
Quick fun Q&A (not formal speeches)
A title (funny+formal, eg: "Queen of Calculus", “Biology Boss”)
Certificate/medal presentation
Sample for One Student:
Host B:
Next up, we have the one who probably dreams in chemical formulas...
Host A:
Our topper in Chemistry – the walking Periodic Table, Anjali Mehra!
(music as student walks up)
Host B:
Quick quiz for Anjali – If I mix coffee and panic, what do I get?
Anjali: Exams?
Host A:
Correct! That’s 100% caffeine-powered brilliance! Let’s hear it for our Chemistry Queen!
(Award presented, applause)
Repeat for all 8, vary titles and jokes!
🎲 Game 2: “Subject Battle Royale” (10 mins)
Host A:
Now, it’s time for a battle... of wits.
Host B:
We’ll call 2 students from the audience and give them random subject-based challenges – but with a
twist!
Examples:
Spell a word backwards
Translate a science term into a Bollywood song line
Act out a math concept in 5 seconds
Host A:
Let’s see who can survive the Great School Gauntlet!
(2 rounds with different volunteers)
😂 Rapid Fire Fun: “You or Them?” (10 mins)
Host B:
Time to find out how well our audience knows their toppers!
Host A:
We’ll ask a fun question. You shout the topper’s name if you think it’s them. Let’s test your gossip
game.
Questions:
Who’s most likely to bring snacks into the lab?
Who once finished a 3-hour paper in 90 minutes?
Who accidentally called the teacher ‘mom’?
(Add points/silly badges for right guesses)
🏅 Mini Awards (5 mins)
Host A:
And while we’re celebrating toppers, let’s give a shoutout to the unsung heroes!
Host B:
Presenting some Very Special Awards…
Awards:
“Best Notebook Doodler”
“Most Likely to Start a Group Chat Before Exams”
“Silent but Smart”
“Human Calculator (Unofficial)”
(Audience nominated, spontaneous, just for fun)
🎤 Finale & Wrap Up (10 mins)
Host B:
We came, we clapped, we conquered – and no one was asked to recite a poem. That’s a win!
Host A:
To our 8 stars – your dedication inspires. To the audience – your energy elevated this entire event.
Host B:
Thank you to the teachers, coordinators, and everyone who didn’t unplug the mic mid-way.
Host A:
Remember, excellence isn't a destination – it’s a continuous game of learning, laughing, and maybe
failing a little along the way.
Host B:
Until next time, keep shining, keep striving… and keep submitting your assignments on time.
Together:
Thank you and goodnight! 🎉
