These constitute only a very few of the questions that marketing executives are trying to discern
about you, in order to create the type of fashion retail brand that gets you hot under the collar and
itching to go shopping. Of course, you instinctively know that fashion retailers like Primark and
Gucci are a world apart (not counting the ironic title of Primani that has now been applied to our
most ubiquitous of high street retailers...). But do you know precisely who these companies are
targeting in an attempt to increase footfall through their doors? Are YOU a marketing goldmine for
fashion retailers?
Perhaps your answer to that last question is of course I am! More people means more money,
right? Not always. You might be surprised to find that many companies simply don t want you.
Take Gucci for example. Very early on in the game, Gucci decided that more people didn t mean
more money and engaged in a strong exercise in market segmentation. If all
Auguste Rodin s Gates Of Hell
Essay 2: An Analysis of Figural Movement and Non Textual Depictions of Dante Alighieri s The
Divine Comedy in the Sculptural Motivations of Auguste Rodin s Gates of Hell.
The primary motivation for Auguste Rodin s Gates of Hell are based on the desire to interpret
Dante Alighieri s The Divine Comedy through amore individual response to the text. Rodin avoided
a traditional interpretation of Dante s narrative by creating his own form of chaotic view of hell
through a modern 19th century perspective. During this the middle to late 19th century, Rodin
sought shift the focus away from literary interpretations of art, which had become the dominant
form of interpretation of classical themes in France. The Gates of Hell was to avoid these text
based views of Dante s work as a motivation for Rodin s commission for the doors as an early form
of modernity in sculpture:
Rodin s sculpture, for all its affinity to great literature from Dante to Baudelaire, has nothing ... Show

In this compositional form, the chaos of human forms seen suffering and writhing in hell are one
way in which Rodin deviated from the text that he was initially supposed to follow from the
Divine Comedy. Rodin, therefore , was motivated by a more active and personal view of the chaos
of hell, which was individualistically interpretative and went against traditional forms of literary
interpretation in French classical art. The chaos of the human forms depicted on the gates of hell
define the individualism of the sculptor s point of view, which sought to remove the sickly aspects
of literary culture that was so dominant in French artistic culture. Rodin sought to move away from
these sometimes gaudy expressions of literary heroism to a more realistic, chaotic, and despairing
view of hell through Rodin s sculptural
The Key Term And Why You Are Interested
Discussion Board # 4
Johan Rivera
Liberty University
KEY TERM and WHY YOU ARE INTERESTED IN IT This academic paper will be exploring the
key term, joint ventures. This concept is of interest because in today s business environment due to
the economy downfall, many organizations recourse to this strategy in order to easily infiltrate in a
foreign market. Companies are seeking more opportunities to expand their market share and a joint
venture is an attractive option to do so. Getting involved with a foreign market come with several
obstacles and challenges. It is for the same reason that organizations engage in a joint venture whit a
partner that knows and understand the culture and preferences of that specific nation.
EXPLANATION OF THE KEY TERM Join ventures usually involve an alliance where two or more
companies contribute assets, which results in the formation of a new legal entity (Satterlee, 2014, p.
228). Whit this strategy companies can do business in international markets but have a partner that
will ease the process by helping with the start up and management of the new corporation.
Organizations will be able to compete in a foreign market in a cost effective and successful way.
This strategy can increase the profit of an organization, however, if effective planning is not
incorporated, it can be a major failure that will result in profit loss.

The corporate branded hotels market penetration was also supported by the loyalty programme
machinery. The frequent stay programme grew by 12% in guest enrolment in 2003 according to a
research conducted by the Market Matrix. Such programmes could potentially double the rate of
returning guests. Even though not all major brands adopted this approach, its existence made it
tougher to change consumer behaviours and prevent any new market entrants to present themselves
as reasonable viable product substitutes for a major part of the penetrated market share.
Coincidentally, a group with a larger number of properties would also provide a bigger option pool
and accessibility for guests to maximise their returns through such programmes. Although John Scott
deemed such an initiative as irrelevant to Rosewood s course, this marketing strategy would still
present itself as another level of
A Woman s World Essay
A Woman s World
There is a great distance present between woman in education and woman in society. Women in
society, specifically the work place, do not reflect the portrayal of women in education. There is a
thin line present between the identity of woman and what characteristics are needed to succeed in
the work environment. Woman are capable of obtaining the characteristics that lead to success
however, many may question where, when and how these traits are taught to women. In What Does
a Woman Need to Know? b Andriene Rich states that woman may need to look farther than what
lessons are provided in standard education in order to achieve success in the working environment.
There is no women s college today which is providing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The majority of teachers are woman who decide how and what is taught. Woman are struggling to
obtain such different roles in society compared to the roles portrayed in these children books. It
seems as though the situation has demonstrated a revolving cycle. Children are taught that a
successful woman is otherwise known as a mommy . Today in society, many women view success
as something related to the work place. The portrayal of women in what is being taught is far from
the reality of what women are trying so hard to obtain in the work place. If the majority of
teachers are woman, then why aren t they teaching the tools to survive successfully in the work
place? If women themselves have never been taught these ideas and have had to learn the survival
techniques from within, then there is no common lesson present to teach. These lessons are defined
differently for each individual through experience, time, and observation. Being a teacher in a
career dominated by women, one is rarely challenged in the way that woman are challenged in the
mans world . Predominately teachers may not even be aware of the challenges women face outside
of a teachers profession. If they do, they have not experienced it themselves, and therefor may not
know how to go about implying survival skills through the education that one is providing. If women
teachers are not aware of what society s disadvantages are then they can not teach
