Hate And The Video Games Can Be Played By Anyone Because...
Hate in a Video Game Most video games can be played by anyone because of their safe ratings for
younger people. Games rated mature for violence or any other unsafe qualities, usually are
played by people over the age of 17. Shooting games are one of the more violent genres that are
played by people all the time. Usually putting two factions or types of people to fight each other in
hatred of the other. The killing of one group of people in a gamecan be taken by some as racism or
anti semitic. But most gamesdon t try to disseminate or intentionally express hateful racism to other
cultures. Rather, encourage and build positive cooperation with others in the gaming community
and not being fazed by hatred or racism. Award winning journalist Daniel Terdiman writes that
video games have hateful meanings toward a certain group of people, usually having to kill or
destroy the opposing side. Lets admit it, killing someone in a game is really fun, but needs to be
separate from the real. First person shooters are a genre that hategroups could take advantage of by
getting a message across from killing a certain kind of enemy. There are plenty of games that
explicit hatred toward the villain or good guy. It doesn t matter where it was directed toward, but it
is not always intentionally done. Small developers
Cooke 2 could create smaller scale games to express their version of racism toward anyone. Whereas
big scale flagship companies are worried about fans and how the
The Influence Of Ford On American Culture
At the start of the 20th Century, there were 8,000 cars in the US and 25,000 worldwide. By 1985
there were more than 375 million cars worldwide ( Car ). One company that changed the way of
car production was The Ford Motor Company. The owner of this company was named Henry
Ford. He was born on July 30, 1863, and died on April 7, 1947, (Gelderman). Ford came up with an
idea where he would just make one car model called the Model T so he could mass produce cars.
He did this so that he would use the same types of materials and save money. Doing this also
reduced waste because he used the same materials every time. On October 1, 1908, Ford
successfully produced the first Model T. In 1914 the assembly line was created and that made it

Cars may be loved by all Americans around the US, but what people don t think about is the
negative effects cars have. One major effect that cars create is pollution. Cars run off of gasoline,
and when the gasoline is being used, the car emits the exhaust through the exhaust pipe. This gas that
is released has a huge impact on the environment because it pollutes the air we breathe. Not only that,
but it affects the atmosphere s ozone layer which protects Americans from harmful gases. Without
the ozone layer the world would not be sustainable to live on. Another thing the pollution from the
cars causes is global warming. Pollution affects the earth s temperatures, which can affect places that
are usually cold. So, even though cars have many positive effects on Americans pollution is one
negative effect cars have on the
The Importance Of Religion In The West African Yoruba...
When you think of a religion, what comes to mind? From what I have studied, a religion is a
movement through a group of people that are studying the way of life and their beliefs. In order to
have a religion there needs to be some sort of understanding or bias of what a group of people
believes. In the West African Yoruba religionthere is a problem and there is a solution, like in any
other religion. Because there is a need that has to be solved through a divine creator, it is most
definitely a religion. In the religion people are faced with with a problem which is the fact that they
don t know the purpose in their life and because of that, they are disconnected from their destiny. The
only way they are able to solve this problem is through a diviner to obtain the insight to their destiny.
Although the Yoruba peoplehave been scattered throughout the Americas, due to slavery the religion
is still alive today. According to Bruce Lincoln s definition there is justifiable evidence that this is in
fact a religion because there is discourse, practices, community, and institution throughout it. As
humans we are blessed with this thing called Ayanmo (fate). The only way we are able to achieve
this fate is through the spirit named Olorun. He is a divine power that has created everything and
will aid the followers in their journey to find their true destiny. It is said in the religion that we are
able to spiritually connect throughout our physical realm (Ayé) through our thoughts
Kamala Das Poetry Summary
Chapter 1
Introduction:
Kamala Das (1934 2009) is one of the most significant feminine voices of Indian English poetry.
Often her vocabulary, idioms, choice of words and some syntactical construction are part of what
has been termed the Indianization of English. As a confessional poet Kamala Das poetry deals with
the pathos of women, emerging from a possessive role to the point of discovering and asserting the
individual liberty. Since confessional poetry is largely subjective and autobiographical, the poet
gets the chance to pour her heart into the poetry. Because of its autobiographical nature the
confessional poetry deals with the instant feelings of the writers which again associates the
personal experiences of the readers also. Through her poetry, Kamala Das not only expresses the
inner feelings but she also projects herself as a feminist poetic voice who is always asking for a
dignified place of honor and identity.
Kamala Das poetry tends to explore the man woman relationship where she tries to uncover and
subvert the politicized patriarchal representation of gendered identity. She openly revolts against the
traditionally accepted womanhood concepts in the Indian society, and urges the women not to
pretend like a nympho that makes them a puppet of masculine world. She raises her voice against
the norms of society which want female to fit into the traditional framework. The frankness with
which Kamala Das depicts her personal relationship about love, sex, loneliness
Effective E-Portfolio Analysis
Introduction
An effective e portfolio should present higher order thinking, through the display of accumulated
works, which themselves include reflective statements and personal experiences (Morton, 2012).
Pelliccione and Raison (2009) state that e portfolio components should include learning objectives,
and provide a retrospective review of learning to transform future practices. Throughout the
capstone course at Arizona State, I have created an e portfolio to facilitate the ability to analyze and
synthesize learning in the format suggested earlier by Morton (2012) and Pelliccione and Raison
(2009).

Essay On Peer Pressure
Peers are equal in abilities, age, background and even social stature. Peer Pressure is society
pressuring a member of a peer group to undertake certain actions, adapt values, and do what they
believe will allow them to be accepted into such a group. In the Bible, the Old Testament, the
Gospels, and the New Testament provides examples of Peer Pressure. The ability to either fall into
or steer clear of peer pressure is through the virtues of courage, temperance and prudence. We are
followers of Jesus Christ and we are not the same humans that once roamed the earth. We are should
be more confident in ourselves and our actions than relying on others to tell/show us what is
acceptable or not. The Bible gives us examples regarding peer... Show more content on

Mark 15:15 states that Pilate was peer pressured into doing an act that he knew was not just,
Wishing to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas for them, and after having Jesus scourged,
he handed Him over to be crucified. This Gospel passage shows that our common sense can be
easily altered by a crowd of people wishing for a specific outcome. Pilate makes the ultimate
decision and worries that if the people do not get this outcome, they will riot and harm the one
that made the decision. This happens within our current society as well, regarding politics and
how the government feels pressured to do what the people want and if they do not, they fear of
rebelling occurring within their nation. Matthew 27:24 26 is alike to Mark because he too uses
Pilate and his actions as an example. Matthew writes, When Pilate saw that he was accomplishing
nothing, but rather that a riot was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the
crowd, saying, I am innocent of this Man s blood; see to that yourselves. And all the people said,
His blood shall be on us and on our children! Then he released Barabbas for them; but after having
Jesus scourged, he handed Him over to be crucified. These verses precede an important beginning.
Yes, Pilate succumbs to the crowds and wishes to please them, but the crowd would not have yelled
Barabbas to be freed if it were not for
Tornado Alley
Have you ever wondered what that spinning cloud in the sky is? Or why all of a sudden it is
humid out, but the wind is cold? There are approximately 1,000 tornadoes that occur each year in
the US, but there are also many that go undetected and unreported. In El Reno, Oklahoma, in 2013, a
tornado hit and covered 175 miles per hour. This was the fastest, and largest stormever recorded.
Oklahoma has about fifty two tornadoes occur, on average a year.
The definition of a tornado is a small, very intense cyclonic storm with exceedingly high winds,
most often produced along cold fronts in conjunction with severe thunderstorms. A cold front is a
front along which a cold air mass thrusts beneath a warmer air mass. A warm front is a front along

Some tornadoes may strike quickly, and with little to no warning. In the southern states the peak of
tornado season is March through May. In the northern states it is late spring to early summer. They
are most likely to occur between 3 pm and 9 pm but can happen at anytime.
A tornado in Oklahoma picked up a small herd of cattle and carried them across the countryside,
then sat them down and the cattle were unharmed. Dust Devils are a type of tornado that passes
through a desert area. There can be times when multiple tornados form at a time and then they travel
in swarms just like fish. The most powerful tornadoes are from the United States. Every tornado has
its own color, sound and shape that is just for itself, just like fingerprints, no tornado is exactly the
same.
In conclusions, tornados are nothing to mess around with. Treat it just as every other intense
situation. There are many different ways to tell the difference in a tornado. Extreme weather is
nothing to joke around, about or just treat it like a little shower of rain. It s not, take shelter and be
Man Vs Nature Vs Of Mice And Men
There are different types of conflict, the conflict such as Man .vs. Nature, Man.vs. Man, and
Person .vs. Self these types of conflicts show the struggle people have to go succeed a goal, dream
or just to survive. In the poem Ode to a Mouse by Robert Burns and the novel Of Mice and Men
by John Steinbeck, both authors use the literary element, Conflict to show the struggles of the
characters. In California during the Great Depression, Lennie Small and George Milton are two
ranch workers going from job to job with the dream of saving enough money to purchase their own
land to live on the fatta the land . As events unfold in the novel, George, Lennie, and other characters

Everyone needs something to look forward too, and in the poem and in the novel of mice and
men, none of those dreams are realized because of the conflict with Lennie always getting in
trouble. Although George and Lennie were close to their dream, it becomes impossible due to
the constant conflict of Lennie getting in trouble and the narrator of Ode to a Mouse destroying
the mouse s winter home. In the novel Of Mice and Men, Lennie is constantly battling himself.
throughout the story, Lennie must learn and remember to fit in with the other characters who are
much brighter than he is. In addition, he must learn how to follow rules he can t remember. After
Lennie killed Curley s wife, Lennie begins to argue with himself saying I done a real bad thing,

The Revolution Of The United States
Jacksonian Revolution In the early 1800s, it was generally known that in order to vote, a person
was required to have a stake in society, they either had to pay taxes or own so many acres of land.
Voting rights varied throughout the colonies, for example, some colonies added restrictions due to
the religious beliefs of the voters. Furthermore, under the United States Constitution the presidential
electors were chosen by the state legislatures not by the people, as well, eligibility to vote for
members of the House of Representatives was left to the states. Women, Indians and blacks (slave
or free) were restricted from voting almost in all regions. In our era, democracyis known as a
government for the people, by the people , and is... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many believed that giving the vote to all would lead to misguided legislation. For the same reason
they feared the control of political parties by corrupt people. The nation s founders believed that
democracy could contain harmful effects, but eventually the term had become acceptable and could
be functional in American institutions. Citizens in the 1820s and 1830s slowly lost their fear that
democracy would lead to anarchy. Though each individual was to be given an equal start in life,
equality of opportunity did not mean equality of results. In the campaign of 1828, Jackson, known as
Old Hickory , triumphed over the unpopular President John Adams. Following Andrew Jackson s
election of 1828, a birth of a new era of mass democracy came about and influenced a revolution in
American history. Of course, he could not go about making such radical changes without supports,
but that never created a problem. Jacksonian Democrats (supporters) were great in number, they
created a new Democratic party. Jackson s policies followed the era of Jeffersonian democracy
which dominated the previous political era. Yet, in contrast to the Jeffersonian era, Jacksonian
democracy promoted the strength of the presidency and executive branch at the expense of
Congress, while also seeking to broaden the public s participation in government. More broadly, the
term Jacksonian Democracy can be referred to as the period of the Second Party System when

Essay On B s Equitable Interest
Introduction
This essay will start by considering B s position how the Law of Property Act 1925 and Land
Registration Act 2002 affect her interest in Y in relation to D s interest. It will then move on to
consider C s position in a similar fashion. Finally, it will conclude with a critical examination of
some of the legal principles applied.

Brenda s Interest
B s equitable interest is generated from her contribution to the purchase price of Y through the
creation of a trust in the property. Such an interest was previously classified in the Land
Registration Act 1995 as a minor interest , and ought to be registered in the proprietorship register
of Y s title as restriction on the proprietorship register, in accordance with s. 40 47 of the Land
Registration Act 2002 to facilitate overreaching.

According to s. 2(2) of the Law of Property Act 1925, overreaching can only occur when the
purchaser, during a registered disposition of land, deals with two or more trustees the equitable
interests of the beneficiaries under the trust would then be swept off the land, and included in the
purchase price of the property. On the facts, because Y is held on trust exclusively by A, D would
have only dealt with one trustee during the transaction. This would mean that the doctrine of
overreaching does not apply with respect to B s equitable interests.

Under s. 29(2)(a)(i) of the Land Registration Act 2002, pre existing interests in land can only be
protected against a registered
Examples Of Princess Cimorene In Dealing With Dragons
In the novel, Dealing With Dragons, by Patricia C. Wrede, Princess Cimorene was justified in
dismissing the social standards of her day because in the novel, she escapes from her previous life as
a proper princess, to soon enjoy her new life as princess to the King of Dragons, as well as saving
their kind from corruption by the dragon, Woraug, and the wizards. At the beginning of the novel,
Cimorene is shown disregarding the activities that her parents allow her to do. The activities
chosen for Cimorene are standard things for princesses such as herself, but she wants to do
something more fun and exciting, creating an interesting juxtaposition between her and her sisters.
Embroidery lessons, and dancing, and and being a princess! My dear Cimorene! the fairy said,
shocked. It s your heritage! It s boring. Furthermore, Cimorene literally says that she loathes being
a princess because of how monotonous everything is. Her fairy godmother is shocked by Cimorene
s choices, not sure how to help her with her problem. Cimorene was supposed to be like her sisters,
but she came out obedient instead, defying while also going below their standards. Secondly,
Cimorene repeatedly managed to get out of her recommended activities to sneak herself into the
lessons she wants, like cooking. Cimorene s parents constantly had to manually stop her from doing
these activities that she chose. The same thing happened over the Latin lessons from the court
philosopher, the cooking lessons
