Once Secure Boot is disabled the NVR-AS 4000 can be updated to use the 19.7 firmware.
Starting with NVR-AS 4000 Firmware 19.0, applying a firmware upgrade to an Enterprise NVR-AS 4000
will attempt to automatically disable TLS 1.1 for the Server Administrator (OMSA) and iDRAC web
interfaces and the iDRAC virtual console, leaving TLS 1.2 as the only enabled version. If there is a
specific need to keep TLS 1.1 support then it must be manually re-enabled once the upgrade is
complete, please see the User Guide for details of how to access iDRAC and OMSA.
Note that fully disabling TLS 1.1 for iDRAC is only possible on the Enterprise NVR-AS 4000 G3 1U or G3
2U models which have been upgraded to iDRAC9 version 4.40.00.00 or later. Be aware that the firmware
upgrade will attempt to forcibly set the iDRAC virtual console to use the HTML5 interface as this is the
only plugin type which permits TLS 1.1 to be disabled. If the virtual console was previously configured
to use the Java or ActiveX plugin then this must be manually changed back once the upgrade is
complete. Please also note that the presence of the virtual console feature depends on the installed
iDRAC license.
The License Server has been updated to maintain compatibility with other IndigoVision products.
