Step 3 - Databases Forms
1. Open the database Computer Stock Database we created.
2. Create a form using the form wizard containing all the available fields from the Products table, selecting columnar layout and standard style (This is actually faster than creating a blank form from scratch). 3. Name the form Catalogue. 4. Advance the records at the bottom till you get to a new one. 5. Create the following two new records.
No Name Manufact. Year Type
169 Susmic B42 Apple 2002 Hardware
170 Susmic Open Office Sun System 2002 Software
6. Change your view to the Design View
7. Save the picture of the printer in today’s page to your Database folder. 8. Insert the image into the form by going to insert image in the controls group and finding it in your one drive. 9. Position the image to the side of the text (Not the Title name). 10. On the property sheet that appears on the right, click on the Format Tab and Choose the size mode. Set the properties to stretch. (You may need to widen the property sheet so you can read everything). 11. Go to the form view and find the record with product number 156. In the records group choose to delete this record. 12. Save and close the Catalogue form.
