Hi PES 6 Fans,

I was asked by many people to make a Facemaking Tutorial. I decided to make a tutorial and share it
with you.

I spent really really much time into this full-tutorial and how you like it and also I hope that many
people try out facemaking. With the method which is shown on tutorial it is possible to make good
faces in just one hour (without hairs). I made one "Full-Tutorial", which shows the steps of
facemaking basically. The plan is to make small tutorials later as a supplement. Also in plan is to
make hair tutorial if the facemaking tutorial finds favor. Believe me with this files I made for you
(base.bin, Texture Templates, etc) facemaking is simple as never before! Give it a try!

Since there are many users from spanish or portugese speaking countries which often don´t speak
good english (my experience) I decided to write some information text for the tutorial onto my blog
or in script. So everbody who needs it can copy my describtions into google translator.

Beside this it is planned to make spanish subtitle for the tutorial, too. But that depends on the help of
a Spanish-language video editor.

For facemaking in PES 6 there are two different ways of Facemaking.

Making default size faces (normal texture size 128 x 64) or High Def (HD) faces (bigger texture size
individually choosed).

The Tutorial below concentrate on HD faces.

Let´s start!
1. Needed Tools and Programs
As first you need to install several programs/ tools and make settings of it (just one time). The link to
this programs and files you find on my blog.

Install Blender
Install PES 2013 Face/Hair Modifier Tool v1.4 for Blender 2.67 by sxsxsx
Install Photoshop

After installing this all, open Blender. It should look like this:

2. The Facemodel – Structure, Rules & Tips

Before you can make good faces you need to understand the structure of the facemodell and you
need to know some rules.

2.1 The Face in Blender

After importing the Face Base Model.bin in Blender you see this

Left Window the 3D Modell and on the right window the texture (you individually choose).
2.2 General Rules

Important: Please always use the Face Base Model.bin as base which I shared on my blog!!!

Never move this marked points. This points are the crossing to the neck modell. If you change the
position of this points you might get mistakes like that ingame:

At next pages the parts of the facemodel are shown. I put on each screen a red rules window for
special rules. It is very important that you pay attention for this rules!
2.3 The Ears – Structure and Special Rules

Question: Why dont´t move this points in UV-Editor?

Answer: Because the base modell has already a texture for the backside of the ears which fits perfect
on it. If you change the UV-Mapping by moving this marked points in UV-Editor the base
texture position at the ear modell would be destroyed.

2.4 The Nose – Structure and Special Rules

The
2.5 The Mouth – Structure and Special Rules

2.6 The Eyes – Structure and Special Rules

Question: Why always move the similar points of the eyes and eyelashes together?

Answer: At the base model the eyes textures are put in the edges below to make them more big (for
better quality on texture). But at the 3D View window in the screen above you see that at
the modell this points are at the same position (logically). If you just would move the
eyelashes for example you would damage the UV-Mapping or the modell.
2.7 The teeth & tongue – Structure and Special Rules

Tongue:
3. Blender Control Guide
If you're new, you might find it complicated at first. But don´t worry. It needs a little time to learn to
handle blender and lern to use the functions but if you learn this everything will be easy.

The main controls in Blender are:

B + HOLD LEFT MOUSE -> Select points in selected area

S -> Scale the selected area

S + X, Yor Z -> Scale in X,Y or Z-Coordinates

U -> For UV Mapping modes

G -> Move

R -> Rotate
