Oral communication is the process of
conveying information, ideas, and thoughts
through spoken words. It involves the
transmission of messages between
individuals or groups using speech, including
both formal and informal settings. Essentially,
it's how we communicate verbally.

These are the barriers in communication which hinder the
senders’ message to be understood by the receiver. The
common barriers include the use of an inappropriate channel,
incorrect grammar, noise and technical jargons or language of
a group of people in a profession.

1. The speaker develops
an idea to be sent.
2. The speaker encodes
the idea or converts it to
words or actions.
3. The speaker transmits
or sends out the idea
using a specific medium
or channel.
4. The receiver gets the
message and decodes or
interprets it.
5. The receiver provides or
sends feedback.

At any point of the communication process, noise may take place and hinder the flow of communication
process.
