PROPOSAL TO CREATE AN INTERNSHIP
STRUCTURE ALIGNING WITH TECHNO CAMPUS
VISION OBJECTIVES: To construct an internship structure in alignment to Techno campus vision to explore the new talent and generate skillful young candidates in field of ed-tech and coding. The internship structure will bring clarity into world of technology and coding.
LIST OF MEASURES
1. Interview: Basic interview regarding interests and excellence in
different areas of coding and development. (Back end, front end, web development etc.) This will enable the student to know their own interests and bring clarity. This interview will be helpful in creating a personalized structure for individuals and guidance they require to ace skills.
2. Allotment of senior: A small group of students with similar interests will
be placed under a professional who will be personal mentor to help them whenever they get stuck. This will foster in them a sense of discipline and give them real feeling of corporate life which they are setting their eyes on.
3. Allotment of tasks: Individuals will be allotted tasks under a timely
manner. Tasks will be designed catering to the needs of industry and will be designed considering the competitive nature of this field. Each individual will have to submit tasks along with a work - report and will have to maintain a personal log for keeping track of things learnt and mistakes made. This will help them get insight of what actual problem solving looks like and help them work efficiently under pressure.
4. Development of soft skills: The communication during internship will
help them gain soft skills required for clear communication and acing personality rounds of interviews.
5. Appropriate usage of tools: Candidates will be taught usage of Artificial
intelligence and other programs in order to enhance their skills and learn how professional coders use Artificial intelligence to their advantage and not just copy but also learn from it.
6. Allotting projects: Interns will be placed under different projects. They
will be required to pitch ideas and contribute in solving a real problem. This will help them in gaining leadership skills.
7. Networking: Interns will be exposed to network of professionals and will
be taught how to use platform like LinkedIn to their advantage. This will help them build their own network which will be helpful in their future endeavors.
