Abstract

This project is a fully responsive web-based personal portfolio developed using HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, and Bootstrap. It aims to provide a professional platform to showcase an
individual’s profile, skills, education, projects, and services. The design is based on the
iPortfolio template. The website includes multiple sections such as About, Resume, Skills,
Portfolio, Services, Testimonials, and Contact. The objective is to demonstrate modern front-
end development practices by creating a dynamic and user-friendly website that highlights the
developer’s capabilities.
1. Introduction

1.1 Overview
The website is a digital portfolio that serves as an online presence for a web developer. It
presents structured and categorized information about the individual's background, experience,
and work in a professional manner.

1.2 Background of project


In today’s technology-driven world, having an online portfolio is essential for professionals,
especially developers and designers. This project allows the developer to build and maintain a
personal brand and increase visibility to potential clients or employers.

1.3 Motivation
The motivation behind this project is to gain practical experience in front-end development
using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. It also serves to establish a portfolio that can
be shared with recruiters and clients.

1.4 Significance of the Project


This project demonstrates how a professional and interactive portfolio website can increase
credibility and improve job opportunities. It also highlights the importance of responsive
design and modern web practices.

1.5 Description of the Project

The portfolio website consists of the following main sections:

 Home – A landing section with introduction and typing animation.


 About – Details about the developer including personal background.
 Resume – Academic qualifications and professional experience.
 Skills – Progress bars showing proficiency in web technologies.
 Portfolio – A categorized image gallery showcasing projects.
 Services – Descriptions of the services offered by the developer.
 Testimonials – Client or team member feedback.
 Contact – Interactive form for visitors to reach out.
Main Modules, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements

Functional Requirements:

 Responsive navigation and smooth scrolling.


 Display of dynamic components such as typing effect, progress bars, and portfolio
filtering.
 Contact form with input validation.
 Integration of social media links and downloadable resume.

Non-Functional Requirements:

 Should work across all modern browsers.


 Mobile responsive design.
 Lightweight and optimized for performance.
 Well-structured and commented code for maintainability.

2. Methodology

Process Model:
The Waterfall Model has been adopted due to its clear phases and simplicity.

Requirement Gathering and Analysis


Information was collected regarding the developer’s background, academic qualifications,
services, and projects. Requirements were finalized before implementation.

System Design
The layout and structure of each section were planned using wireframes. HTML and
Bootstrap components were selected for consistency and responsiveness.

Implementation
The project was implemented using:

 HTML5 for content structure


 CSS3 and Bootstrap 5.3.3 for styling and responsiveness
 JavaScript for interactive features like the typing animation and form validation
Integration and Testing
Each section was tested individually and as a whole on various screen sizes and browsers to
ensure compatibility and responsiveness.

Deployment of System
The website can be deployed on platforms like GitHub Pages, Netlify, or any standard web
hosting service.
