Nature of Specimen/Biopsy:
1. Bladder tumor.
2. Deep muscle.
3. Random bladder.

Gross findings:
1. Bladder tumor
Received multiple grey white tissue bits altogether measuring 2.5x2cm. Entire tissue processed (A).
2.Deep muscle.
Received multiple grey white tissue bits altogether measuring 2x2cm. Entire tissue processed (B).
3. Random Bladder.
Received 3 grey white tissue bits each measuring 4mm. Entire tissue processed (C).

Microscopic Examination:
1,2. Bladder tumor and Deep Muscle:
Sections show normal urothelial lining with lamina propria and muscularis propria revealing multiple foci
of tumor infiltration as disorganized ,complex and branched glandular pattern .Glandular breakdown with
extracellular mucin seen focally.Individual cells show round nuclei with mild anisokaryosis and
intracytoplasmic mucin. Reactive desmoplasia and vascular emboli noted.

3. Random Bladder:
Sections from random biopsy show normal urothelial lining. No evidence of CIS in these sections.
