1. General description

1.1. Features
• Application: Suitable for VVVF, 2 Speed and Hydraulic Lift control
• Control Mode: Full collective (6 stop) / Down Collective (8 stop)
• No. Of stops: Max up to 8 stop but extendable up to 16 with extension board.
• Door type: Suitable for both Auto Door/ Manual Door
• Group Operation: Simplex & Duplex,
• Floor Indicator O/P: Binary/ Gray/ Seven Segment.
• Self diagnostic: Two line LCD display is used for status/ Fault
• User friendly: Built in LED indicators for all input & output; hence easy for
troubleshooting
• Flexibility in operation: All operating parameters (like door open time, close time,
Reed switch scheme, parking floor etc) are programmable at site with inbuilt keypad
• Protection: All parameters are password protected
• Special Features: Compatible with 60V AC-DC and 110V AC-DC safety voltages, Lift
Lock, Attendance, Fireman, Stop, Overload, ARD, PTC and Arrival Gong, Compatible
with 12V & 24V COP’s and LOP’s etc.

4.1. Overview of Keypad:

4.2. How to do Programming


 To go to programming mode, double click on INCREMENT key. The display will show
"Program Mode...."
"P000=08"

 Cursor is at parameter number P000. To increase the parameter numbers press


INCREMENT key.
 Cursor will shift to the value as shown below, if ENTER key is pressed.
"P000=08"
 To increase the value of the parameter press INCREMENT key and to shift the cursor
press DEC key. To save the values of that parameter press ENTER key. The parameter
number automatically increases by one as shown below. Now the cursor shifts to
parameter number as shown below
"P001=01".

4.3. How to set new the Password


 To set Password, Double click on DECREMENT key, it will ask for current password
and after Entering that, use INCREMENT key to increment the value and to shift
cursor press DECREMENT, then finally Press ENTER. New password will be set.

 While entering into the programming mode, it will ask for new password.
4.4. Use of ARD input of Card-
 If 24V DC input is provided to the pin no 29, then card itself gives slow command or
only slow relay will operate and will wait for nearest door zone signal. Card will be in
ARD mode till pin no 29 has 24V DC input and controller will not accept any calls.
 If lift is at floor level and passenger enters into the cabin and before anyone will give
call and power gets Off then card should get the ARD signal (24V DC at pin no. 29)
then card will give Door Open command itself(In auto door mode).

For Example: - If I want to set ‘-1’ instead of ‘0’ in ground floor.

Step 1 :- Keep elevator in inspection mode.

Step 2 :- Go to programming mode and set parameter “P68=’1’” and “P69=’-‘(dash).

Step 3 :- Make a connection between NOVA card terminal no ‘43’ and ‘2g’ input of Display.

Note:-

1. Follow similar procedure for different floor.

13.Important Instructions
 Note- If anyone wants to shut down / off the controller for long time so he
must shut off the UPS first and then Main Supply.
 Use shielded cable between Nova main board and Extension board.
 To avoid false call registration, short GND of 24V DC and C- ( 2 number Pin)
of nova card.
