Content Plan by Academic Year Class 6 – Introduction to Robotics & Simple Machines Focus: Curiosity, Basic Concepts, and Fun Exploration Modules: •What is a Robot? •Simple Machines and Mechanisms (Gears, Levers, Pulleys) •Introduction to Sensors and Motors •Build your first Robot (e.g., Line Follower or Obstacle Avoider using Lego kits) •Basic Drag-and-Drop Programming (e.g., Scratch or Blockly) Skills Gained: Logical thinking, basic design, teamwork
Class 7 – Fundamentals of Electronics & Programming
Focus: Understanding electronic components and basic coding logic Modules: •Electricity & Circuits (Resistors, LEDs, Switches) •Introduction to Microcontrollers (Arduino/EV3/SPIKE) •Programming Logic (Loops, Conditions) •Mini Projects: Traffic Light Controller, Basic Movement Bot Skills Gained: Hands-on circuit building, basic coding logic Class 8 – Design Thinking & Robotics Challenges Focus: Solving problems using robotics and design process Modules: •Sensors in-depth (IR, Ultrasonic, Touch) •Robotic Arm & Gripper Design •Design Thinking: Empathy → Ideate → Prototype → Test •Project: Automated Door, Water Level Indicator, or Smart Dustbin Skills Gained: Creativity, system integration, basic automation
