transition of responsibility and the enduring legacy of excellence. Leading this momentous
procession, embodying the pillars of character and grace, we present: the Virtue of Wisdom,
Janzyne Kyle B. Bacolor; the Virtue of Hope, Alexa Marie L. Julao; and the Virtue of Faith,
Jenny Rose A. Aguiba. May their presence inspire and illuminate this evening of elegance and

the symbolic candle, Lady Bea Bianca V. Llanes. May this flame serve as a guiding light in all our
journey ahead."

this your senior’s guidance with honor and pride."

tradition. To commence this enchanting evening, we present the grand Rigodon de Honor, a
timeless dance showcasing the poise and camaraderie of our esteemed Juniors and Seniors. Let
the rhythm of the night begin!

(HISTORY)

Rigodon - The Rigodon—also called Rigodon de Honor—is a traditional formal dance from the
Philippines that evolved from dances brought to the Pacific islands by Spanish settlers in the
sixteenth century (the Rigodon dance was also said to be popular in French and Spanish courts).
Historically, the dance is meant to represent a certain sense of elevated status among those who
take part in it, and is often performed at galas, balls and other formal occasions celebrated by the
rich and powerful, especially those in government. The dance itself begins with the announcement
of pairs and then proceed to positioning through the ballroom.

Cotillon- The word ‘cotillion’ became prominent during the 18th century in Europe and America
when balls and lavish parties were popular. A Cotillion was a formal group dance, danced with
partners in a square formation, typically at the close of the evening. Sometimes the dances were
memorized and rehearsed and other times a “caller” would direct the group. Once people are
familiar with the basic steps, a caller just calls out different figures and sequences. These
combinations become the complete performance. I imagine having a caller made it easier for the
dance to be performed while avoiding a lot of rehearsal.

the achievements of our outstanding candidates. We have a thrilling program ahead, so sit back,

Ma:am Z: Before we move forward, let us take a trip down memory lane as we hear the heartfelt
and humorous words from our JS Batch. The Will & Testament serves as a special tradition where
our outgoing batch leaves behind their legacy, lessons, and laughter for the next generation.
