REFLECTION ON CODE OF ETHICS

The Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers serves as a guiding framework for
educators, outlining the principles and standards they should uphold in their professional
practice. By upholding the values mentioned within this code, teachers ensure that they not
only educate minds but also nurture character, fostering leadership and empowerment in the
classrooms.
Article One underscores the importance of upholding the dignity and integrity of the
teaching profession. It emphasizes the imperative for teachers to serve as role models. As I
contemplate this notion, I am reminded of the profound influence teachers wield over their
students, not only academically but also in shaping their character and values.
Article two: The teacher and the state, this article underscores the importance of
educators' partnership to the state and its educational policies. It highlights the need for
teachers to support the state's educational objectives while remaining critical and
constructive. For example, a teacher participates in curriculum development workshops
organized by the Department of Education to ensure alignment with state standards while
providing feedback to improve the curriculum's effectiveness.
Article three: The teacher and the community, this article underscores the role of
teachers as active participants in the community, advocating for the welfare and
development of students beyond the classroom. For instance, a teacher initiates a

professionalism of all the personal under the institution. Collaboration, mutual respect, and

of each learner. For example, a teacher employs differentiated instruction strategies to
