Crossplane Lab Requirement

Training Duration:

• 10 days, 4 hours/day (40 hours total)

Training Schedule:

• July 14 – July 25, 2025

• Preferred Slot: 2 PM – 6 PM (2nd half of the day)

Lab Setup:
• 1 VM Configuration:
o Ubuntu OS
o 4 vCPU
o 16 GB RAM
o 64 GB SSD
• Cloud Subscriptions:
o Azure: 4-core CPU, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB Storage
o AWS: 4-core CPU, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB Storage
o Note: Both AWS and Azure accounts need to run simultaneously during
training hours.
• Total VMs Required:
o 15 VMs for Soumya’s team
o 1 VM for the trainer
• VM Usage:
o VMs will be stopped after training hours (i.e., no daily cleanup—simply power
off all VMs).

Lab Infrastructure Requirements:


• Cloud Accounts: AWS, Azure

• Kubernetes Cluster: minikube, KIND, or managed clusters (EKS/AKS)
• Installed Tools:
o kubectl
o Helm
o Crossplane CLI
o Code editor (e.g., VS Code)
o Git and GitHub/GitLab account
o GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD installed)
o Terraform (for comparison labs)
• Optional Tools:
o OPA/Gatekeeper (for policy enforcement)
o K9s or Lens (for cluster visualization)

Additional Support:
• 24/7 L1 support during the training days to handle any issues with the lab environment.
