I. 8:00 AM – 8:20 AM: OPENING PROGRAM

Emcee:

"A pleasant morning to all our dedicated educators and passionate servant-leaders!

Welcome to Day 1 of our MATATAG K to 12 Core Training Program—an important initiative


under the Department of Education aimed at strengthening our competencies as we implement
the revised K to 12 Curriculum.

The word MATATAG means strong, firm, and resilient—and that is exactly what this training
seeks to build in us: educators who are strong in purpose, firm in values, and resilient in shaping
the future of our learners.

"To officially start our journey, let us open our program with reverence and love for our country
and the values we uphold as Filipino educators."
