My family’s routine.

Hello. My name is Thomas.I’m 12 and I’m a good student. I(1) wake

Important Verbs; “To do”

The verb “to do” is very important for us. We use it to question, for example
“Do you run fast?”. We also use it to do the negative form “I don’t run”.
There’s also a positive form but is mainly used to double confirm “Yes, I do
run fast”.

El verbo “Hacer” es muy importante para nosotros. Lo usamos para

preguntar, negar y a veces para confirmar pero nos centraremos
principalmente en negar y preguntar. Usamos el verbo “To do” con el
infinitivo de otros verbos para hacer la forma negativa “ I do not play
baseball” y para las formas interrogativas “Do you play piano?”. Tambien lo
utilizamos para hablar sobre las cosas que hacemos “I do my homework”.

The verb “Have” is very important. It is used to mark possession and to
express other time forms. El verbo tener se usa para marcar posesión. Mas
adelante veremos que forma otros tiempos verbales como el past perfect y
mucho más adelante como modal verbs.

Important verbs; “Go to” / “To go”

The verb “Go to” means movement. We use it to explain where we are
moving to. El verbo “ir” implica movimiento. Nosotros lo utilizamos para
explicar a dónde vamos.

Important verbs ; “Like”

The verb like is used to tell the things we are interested in. El verbo gustar
sirve para indicar que cosas nos interesan.

The third person in singular. ( La 3º persona de singular) in Present

simple.

There are various forms of doing the third person in singular. This happens
when we use He/She/It and other singular forms that can be replaced with
common nouns (Bank) or names (Tom) or other forms that are in the same
stance as these.

Hay varias formas de hacer la tercera persona de singular en ingles. Esto

ocurre cuando usamos la tercera persona de singular He/She/It (El/Ella/Eso)
o nombres comunes o colectivos que sean singulares (Banco/ Rebaño) o
nombres propios (Maria) y otras formas que esten en esta misma clausula.

Dependiendo del verbo se escriben de distintas maneras;

1º We add “-s” to the verb.

For example; He likes rock music.

2º If the verb ends in “s/sh/ch/x/o/w” we add “-es” to the verb

For example if the verb ends in s, —-> Miss

We will say “She misses” miss+ es = Misses

For example if the verb ends in sh —-> Wash

We will say “He washes” wash+ es= Washes

For example if the verb ends in ch —-> catch
We will say “It catch” catch+ es= catches

For example if the verb ends in o —-> go

We will say “Pablo goes” go + es= goes

For example if the verb ends in x—-> Fix

We will say “The repairman fixes the Tv” fix +es= Fixes

3ºIf the verb ends in y

If the verb ends in y we must look at the vocal or consonant they have
before them.

In the verb “Say” we have a vocal before them. In this case we adds “s”

In the verb “Try” we have a consonant before the y. In this case we add ies

● If verbs ends with vocal + y : Add -s → “Pay” /

“Pays”
● If verb ends with consonant + y : Eliminate the
y and Add -es → “Fly” / “Flies”
