1) A beam is loaded as shown in Fig.1. Find the reactions at A and B. Also draw the axial
force diagram, shear force diagram and bending moment diagram.

2) Draw the shear and moment diagrams for the cantilever beam subjected to the
combination of distributed and point loads as shown in Fig. 2. State the distance b to
the left of A where the bending moment is zero.

3) Plot the shear and moment diagrams for the beam loaded as shown in Fig. 3. State the
maximum magnitudes of the shear force and bending moment for the beam.
