ONE-DAY LEAGUE PATH FIT 4 VOLLEYBALL GUIDELINES

Format: Mixed Gender (4 Boys and 2 Girls on court)


Level: PATH FIT 4 Students
Event Type: Knockout or Round Robin Tournament

1. Team Composition
 Each team must register 6 players on court at a time: 4
boys and 2 girls.
 Teams may have 12 to 15 players on their roster
(including the substitutes).
 Substitutes must maintain the gender ration (4 boys, 2
girls on court).
2. Match Format
 Matches will be best of 3 sets.
 First two sets to 25 points, rally scoring, win by two.
 Third set (if needed) to 15 points, rally scoring, win by
2.
 A time limit of 45minutes per match may be enforced
during early rounds.
 Knockout or Round Robin based in number of teams.
3. Rules of Play
 Standard FIVB Volleyball Rules apply the following
exceptions:
 Teams must have 4 boys and 2 girls on court at all
times.
 Is a team cannot meet the gender requirements, they
will forfeit.
 Players must rotate in the standard clockwise manner.
 Girls may serve and play any position.
 Libero is optional; if used, the libero must be female.
4. Attire and Conduct
 Teams must wear matching jerseys with visible
numbers.
 Proper sports shoes are mandatory.
 Players must maintain sportsmanship and respects for
referees and opponents.
 Yellow Card= Warning
 Red Card= Point for opponent or disqualification
depending on the offense.
5. Points and Ranking (if round robin)
 Win= 2points
 Loss= 0points
 Head-to-head result
6. Equipment and Facilities
 Match balls will be provided by the organizers
 Warm-up time: 5 minutes before each match.
 Medical assistance will be available on-site.
7. Registration
 Teams must register at least 3 days prior to the
tournament.
 Registration includes: Team name, Players names,
Jerseys numbers, and contact info.
