Project Report: Operational Market Strategy with Integrated Logistics and Technology Teams
1. Executive Summary
This report outlines a comprehensive strategy to enhance operational efficiency in the logistics
market through the integration of advanced technology and cohesive team collaboration. The
focus is on leveraging digital transformation, optimizing supply chain processes, and fostering
sustainable practices to meet the evolving demands of the industry.
2. Market Overview
Muhana Mandi, officially known as Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Krishi Upaj Mandi, stands as
Rajasthan's largest agricultural produce market, playing a pivotal role in Jaipur's fruit and
vegetable supply chain. Operating 24/7, it caters to a diverse clientele, including wholesalers,
retailers, and B2B buyers, and is segmented into various blocks for grains, vegetables, fruits,
spices, and flowers. The mandi is equipped with facilities such as tin-shed domes for weather
protection, free Wi-Fi for farmers, banking services, and a police outpost to maintain order.3.
Project Objectives
1.3. SCOPE
Muhana Mandi experiences significant seasonal fluctuations. For instance, in June 2025, popular mango
varieties like Dussehri and Langra were priced higher due to lower yields caused by abrupt weather
changes and aging trees. However, prices are expected to decrease as supplies from regions like Uttar
Pradesh increase. Similarly, vegetable prices have shown volatility, with instances of prices halving due
to local harvest influxes.

PART 3
Month 1:
During the first month of my internship, I took on the role of Head of Operations. At that time, the
organization lacked both a tech department and a data analytics team, which made it clear that my first
priority was to analyze the market and identify the core components necessary to build a robust operational
foundation.
With the continuous support and guidance of our CEO, Mr. Shubham Sharma, I began mapping out the key
roles needed to drive our growth. I conducted groundwork research, spoke to stakeholders, and gradually
began assembling a capable team.
Over the next few weeks, I successfully onboarded professionals across technology, marketing, distribution,
and logistics — laying down the structural base for a more organized, data-driven, and scalable operation.
This experience not only helped me understand the intricacies of supply chain and B2B/B2C logistics but
also sharpened my leadership and decision-making skills in a startup environment
In the second month of my internship, my primary focus shifted to building connections, understanding
logistics channels, and exploring ways to make our company more technologically advanced and operationally
efficient.
We initially leveraged WhatsApp Business API using a Zoho integration to manage orders. However, as we
began processing more customer requests, it became clear that relying on third-party platforms came with
significant limitations — including response delays, limited customization, and inefficiencies in handling
orders at scale.
This experience highlighted a key realization: WhatsApp alone wouldn't be enough to support our long-term
vision. It pushed us to take the first step toward building our own web application to streamline customer
interaction and order management.
But before diving into development, I recognized the need for solid data. So, we initiated a daily data
collection process — recording the prices of every vegetable and fruit listed in our catalog over a period of 3–4
months. This effort helped us understand both the average cost structure and the day-to-day pricing trends in
the market.
The insights we gathered became the foundation for our pricing strategy, demand forecasting, and future
tech development. This phase not only improved my understanding of agricultural logistics but also taught
me the value of data-driven decision-making in building scalable systems.
As we moved into the third, fourth, and fifth months of my internship, our focus shifted toward building a
sustainable sourcing model, improving operational efficiency, and laying the groundwork for long-term
scalability.
We began forming direct relationships with farmers and also approached wholesale vendors to diversify our
supply channels. During this phase, we noticed a significant amount of produce wastage at Mohana Mandi,
Jaipur. Much of this was due to the absence of categorization, standard pricing models, and optimized
distribution.
To address this, we introduced a grading system — classifying fruits and vegetables into A1, A2, and A3
categories based on quality and shelf life. Pricing was aligned accordingly, which allowed us to serve different
types of customers (retailers, restaurants, processors) more precisely.
Understanding the need for smarter logistics, I proposed and helped initiate:
An AI-powered grading and inventory system, to automate sorting and streamline inventory control.
Integration of Google services like Maps, iCards, and real-time driver tracking, to enhance delivery
accuracy and transparency.
However, not all ideas succeeded. Some implementations failed to yield the expected results — either due to
technical issues, execution gaps, or mismatched assumptions. But every failure became a lesson. We constantly
reviewed our actions and iterated our strategies, learning to be more practical and user-centric.
🖥️ Website Design
Initiated and contributed to the early-stage UI/UX design of our web platform to manage orders, user
dashboards, and inventory insights.
📈 Marketing Support
Assisted the team in developing cost-effective promotional templates and distribution strategies to
maximize reach while minimizing spend — using both digital and grassroots approaches.
🤝 Farmer & Vendor Engagement
Facilitated communication with local farmers and vendors to establish trust-based sourcing channels.
🧠 Product Grading System
Helped define and implement the A1–A3 grading model to categorize produce based on quality, shelf life,
and end-use.
🚚 Logistics Integration
Participated in the deployment of driver tracking tools and route optimization strategies to increase
delivery speed and reliability.
💡 Process Learning & Adaptation
Actively participated in review meetings, drew insights from failed executions, and helped realign plans
with on-ground realities.
Certainly! Here's a polished and professional version of your reflection on the sixth and final month of your
internship, summarizing your contributions and achievements:
In the final month of my internship journey at Sabziwala, our focus was on consolidating the data, analyzing
our operational performance, and preparing for scale. After months of gathering price trends, vendor
insights, customer behaviors, and logistics patterns, we were finally in a position to translate data into
decisions.
In parallel, I began working on the warehouse and logistics planning, evaluating how storage hubs and pickup
points could be structured to reduce delays and streamline deliveries across Jaipur.
A key milestone during this month was our focus on hiring — bringing in the right talent to strengthen our
growing team across tech, field operations, and support functions.
Finally, one of the biggest breakthroughs was on the funding front. We initially secured an advance of ₹2
lakhs, which eventually converted into a total seed funding of ₹12 lakhs — a strong endorsement of the
potential we had built together over the past months.
This chapter of Sabziwala was not just about numbers and systems; it was about resilience, teamwork, and
building something meaningful from scratch.
Let me know if you'd like to turn this into a personal story for LinkedIn or a final project summary
document.
3. OBSERVATIONS:
Absolutely — here’s a polished, reflective, and impactful version of your final observation, designed to leave
a lasting impression:
I faced real challenges — from hiring the right people to making decisions without always having the perfect
answer. There were moments of uncertainty, but every obstacle became an opportunity to learn.
But more than technical skills, the most transformative learning was in the areas of:
Team building
Effective communication
Leadership under pressure
These soft skills shaped not just how I worked, but how I thought — and I believe they will be instrumental in
my future, no matter where I go.
This internship wasn’t just a professional assignment — it was a real-world education in building, adapting,
and leading.
4. Conclusion:
Now time to conclude my report I am going to say all of my experience in short that how important is
web development now for all purposes and why it is needed to be done perfectly efficiently, as all are
coming to online platform now. So, for their advertisement how important websites are.
Every website with backend how important is for better performance and for time saving without going
anywhere. Without the perfect or good knowledge about Web development and languages used in there is
no sense of making websites.
