ABSTRACT

EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES(QUANTUM COMPUTING)


Quantum Computing is one of the expeditiously emerging technologies.Quantum computing means
computing that makes use of quantum states of subatomic particles to store information.Quantum
computing is the next generation of technology which is dangerously faster than the super
computers which we have in today world.There are many uses of quantum computing which will
evolve the world some of the applications are in Cybersecurity,Drugs and Chemical
research,Electronic material discovery and Automobiles. A quantum computer uses CUE-BITS(qubits)
to run multidimensional quantum algorithms.The quantum computers have the capability to
transform computation by making certain types of classically intractable problems solvable.The
quantum computers can deliver better quality results faster. There are many different approaches to
build a quantum computer but its not yet clear that which approach is best.The big companies like
Rolls-Royce,BMW,Deloitte etc... are carrying out early experimentation with quantum computing.
Quantum Computing will be the trend in the software marketing in next few years.
