1. a) Complete the table below and draw the graph of y = x²-2x-2 for-1≤x≤3

b) Complete the table below and draw the graph of y=x²+4x-2 for 0≤x≤4
2. a) Complete the table below for the function y=(3-x)(x+1)

b) Use the values in the table to draw the graph of y(3-x) (x+1). Use the following scale:

Horizontal axis 2cm for l unit Vertical axis 1 cm for 2 unit. (3marks)

c) Use your graph in part (b) above to solve the following quadratic equations

i) -x²+2x+3-0 (2marks)

ii) -x²+x+6=0 (3marks)


3. Given the quadratic function y = 3x² + 4x-2

a) Complete the table below for values of x ranging-4<x<3. (2marks)

b) Using the grid provided draw the graph of y=3x²+4x-2 for-4<x<3 (3marks)

c) Using the graph, find the solution to the equations.

i) 3x²+4x-2=0 (2marks)

ii) 3x²+7x+2=0 (3marks)


4. a) Draw the graph of y = 2x²+x-1 for-4≤ x ≤4. Use a scale of 1 cm to represent 1 unit on the x-axis
and 1cm to represent 2.5 units on the y-axis. (3 marks)

(i) Determine the integral values of x in the graphs range which satisfy the inequality

ii) Draw the graph of an appropriate line on the same graph, hence find the solution of the equation.
