CSSPS 2025 SCHOOL SELECTION FORM
SELECTION GUIDELINES
Candidates who wish to enter SHS/TVET schools must, with guardians and school authorities:
a) Select five (5) schools and rank them in order of preference with the 1st being the most preferred choice.
b) Select programmes and residential preferences for each choice of school (3 boarding and 2 day)
c) Candidates may select one (1) category B school as Boarding and another category B school as Day.
d) Candidates may select one (1) category C school as Boarding and another category C school as Day.
e) Select two (2) schools (1 category B and 1 category C) from appendix “3” for consideration if not placed in any of your five (5) main choices.
Note that a candidate placed in any of their choices will NOT be changed.
PLEASE NOTE THAT CANDIDATES:

a) Cannot choose more than one (1) school from Category A.


b) Cannot select more than two (2) schools from Category B.
c) May select all five (5) schools from Category C (3 Boarding and 2 Day)
d) Candidates who wish to offer purely TVET Programmes must select all five (5) TVET institutes from CATEGORY A, B and C as Day or Boarding.
e) Candidates interested in pursuing careers in STEM / Science fields such as engineering, medicine or astronautics etc., must select STEM /
Science subjects in all five choices from categories A, B and C as Day or Boarding.

Alternative School choice (each candidate is to select two (2) schools (1 category B and 1 category C) from the list of alternative
schools provided in Appendix 3.
Candidates must not repeat a school from the initial FIVE (5) choices in the alternative schools list.
(In the event a candidate misses out on all initial FIVE (5) choices, the candidate may be placed in any of the alternative schools
