Procreate Guide
Procreate Guide
Thank you for reaching out! I’m here to help guide you through the steps to download the
PNG coloring pages, import them into Procreate, and start coloring.
● After purchasing, you should have access to a zip file or folder containing all the
individual PNG coloring pages.
● Unzip the file if necessary, and you’ll see each page saved as a separate PNG file.
● Save the PNG files to your iPad or device so they’re ready to import into Procreate.
● Open Procreate and tap on the “+” icon in the gallery to create a new canvas (choose
a size that suits you).
● Once in the canvas, go to the “Actions” menu (the wrench icon), then tap on “Add”
and choose “Insert a file” or “Insert a photo.”
● Select the PNG file you’d like to color, and it will appear on your canvas.
● After importing the coloring page, go to the “Layers” panel (the icon that looks like
two stacked squares).
● Make sure the coloring page layer is selected, then tap the little letter “N” on the
layer. This opens the Blend Modes menu.
● Change the blend mode from “Normal” to Darker Color or Multiply. This will make
the white background blend with any colors you add beneath it, allowing you to color
without affecting the lines.
● In the Layers panel, create a new layer by tapping the “+” icon. Make sure this new
layer is underneath the coloring page layer.
● Select this new layer, and you’re ready to start coloring!
5. Start Coloring
● Now, you can use the brushes in Procreate to add colors on the new layer. Because
the coloring page is set to a blend mode (Darker Color or Multiply), the black lines will
remain visible, and your colors will appear beneath them.
● You can add more layers for different colors, shading, or effects as you like, giving
you flexibility in your coloring.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further help. Enjoy coloring, and
thank you for choosing my designs!
