ADITYA BIRLA CAPITAL – SYSTEM SETUP SOP

1. Pre-Requisites
 Confirm with the user that data backup is completed.
 Format the C: drive.

2. Install Windows
 Install Windows 11 (24H2) Pro.
 After installation Enable the optional feature of WMIC from Windows search.

3. Disable Firewall
 Press Win + R, type firewall.cpl, then OK.
 Click Advanced Settings.
 Turn off all firewalls:
o ✅ Domain
o ✅ Private
o ✅ Public
4. Configure Local Admin User

 Press Win + R, type lusrmgr.msc, and press Enter.


 Go to Users → Rename Administrator to wksadmin.
 Double-click wksadmin:
o Check ✅ "Password never expires"
 Apply and OK.
 Set password for wksadmin
password: pass@123

5. Set Hostname

 Press Win + R, type sysdm.cpl, then OK.


 Change Computer Name (Hostname) as provided by Asset Team or Engineer of
respective LOB.
For eg: -

 Then apply OK and restart in workgroup.


 After Restart go to.
 Press Win + R, type sysdm.cpl, then OK.
 Change Domain (bsli.com).

 Get the Domain Username and password from Engineer.


 Then restart.
6. Install Software (If available in D Drive)

 Install the following software from wksadmin login:


 Google Chrome
 Adobe Reader
 Java
 BIG IP Client
 Forcepoint DLP v23.04.5642
 SentinelOne
 Trellix
 Zscaler
 Local Administrator Password Solution
 7-ZIP
 Teams
 Secure Connector(NAC)

If software is not available locally:


 Connect to server:
o Press Win + R, type \\10.1.62.56\abfl_it_sharedrive$\ ABFL Basic Softwares,
press Enter.
o Take ID Password from Engineer.
 Copy the Software to C or D Drive:
 Install all software from wksadmin login user.

User profile Configuration:


 First the Trellix page will show on screen, then Enter
Username -SSGRP2311
Password – ABC
 Now must connect the system with Office network (LAN/WiFi).
 Then Enter the Username and password of user.

After user login:


 Login to Zscaler
 Login to cyberark from edge browser
 Login to Teams
 Login to OneDrive
 Take the 13 Snaps of user system for IMAC completion

For Eg:

You can now hand over the system to the user.
