HOLIDAY HOMEWORK

CLASS VI

Dear Students
Summer Holidays are the times that we all eagerly wait for. You can do the things that you love like dancing, painting,
yoga, spending time with family and friends but do not let your books feel alone. Reading, writing and learning should
be your regular habit. This summer holiday homework has been set to inspire you to explore, engage, act and
experience. The activity based assignment will foster curiosity and creativity and inculcate the joy of learning,
confidence and perfection.

SUBJECT-ENGLISH

1.Compose a very short poem on any topic of your choice. (30-40 words)
2.Listen to the news in English for a week and write any 3 headlines of your choice.
3.Choose 5 words from the dictionary and frame sentences.
4.Draw/ paste a picture of your choice and describe it in 30-40 words.
5.Make a copy of handwriting and write one page daily with a date.
SUBJECT-HINDI

1- कठपुतली का खेल

राजस्थान के अनूठी प्राचीन कला है इसे

प्रोत्साहहत करते हुए कठपुतली बनाइए तथा

उसके बारे में 10 पंक्तियां हलक्तखए |

2- 'जल संचयन ' हिषय पर सहचत्र पररयोजना

SUBJECT-SCIENCE

1.Create a model that demonstrate how the universe is expanding how the objects within it move apart over a
time(procedure given in Science book at pg no.222
2.Choose a planet and research the condition on this planet and the challenges for human habitation. Make a
report.
SUBJECT-MATHEMATICS

• Create a chart or poster using innovative methods that illustrates the different types of numbers,such as
natural numbers,whole numbers ,integers,prime number and composite numbers
(Use coloured chart papers )

SUBJECT-SOCIAL STUDIES

• Cut as many strips of paper as the number of family members you have. Write the name of one family
member on each strip. Paste these strips in your scrapbook and write the special habits that the family
member has below it.

SUBJECT- COMPUTER
✅Name different tags used in HTML
✅Write about antivirus. List some commonly used antivirus
✅Learn ch-1 and ch-7

SUBJECT- ART

♦️Make 2 posters on the topic of *'World Environment Day'* & *'World Yoga Day'* in your Art copy.

♦️ Make a craft item based on *'Best out of waste'* & bring to submit it after summer holidays.

♦️Do first three Activity of your Art book.

1). Learn 5 Dohas from school calendar
2). Write 2 current affairs ( 1 national and 1 international ) in a copy on regular basis
