Please don’t obsess with getting everything perfect before you launch. Have it good enough to
launch and you can optimize later. Optimization is an ongoing process.
Product Page
When you’re just launching a product and you haven’t built a specific landing page for your
product, this is probably the most important page. Some of the tips included in the link below are
also valid for a product lander.

Cart Page
When you convince people to add your product to cart you need to make sure they continue
down the path that will lead them to buy your product. Here’s a resource that will show you what

Category Pages
You need to make sure the theme you’re using on your store will allow you to make all/some of

Homepage
Out of all of the pages, this is probably the least important. It’s still a good idea to make it look

Page Speed
Page load speed is increasingly important. The faster your pages load, the better your visitors’
experience will be. This can have a huge impact on your conversion rate. These tools will help
you see where you can improve your pages and give you useful information you can pass on to
developers so they can optimize your pages for you.

These tools will allow to record your visitors’ sessions and see where they’re getting stuck, if
something you thought was great is actually not being used by anybody (hint: remove it), and
other useful insights into how visitors interact with your pages.

A/B Testing
When you find something you’d like to change and you’re not sure if it would make
improvements or if it would actually make a bad situation worse, you can always A/B test your
pages to find what the best option for a certain element is (CTA text, product price, main product
image, etc.). These tools will help you test those elements.
