● AI intelligent control
The smart tracking algorithm analyzes the collected data such as PV string
voltage, current, and power to obtain information about shade and weather
conditions such as cloudy and rainy. Based on this, it finds the optimal angle
for trackers to maximize yields.
● Low power supply cost
The SUN2000 inverter can supply power to the Track Control Unit (TCU),
which saves power cables for the motor, and simplifies the system solution.
● Simple system networking
Two communication networking modes are supported:
– TCU-inverter-SmartLogger networking: The TCU uploads tracker
information to the SmartLogger through the inverter.
– TCU-NCU-SmartLogger networking: The TCU uploads tracker information
to the SmartLogger through the NCU.
The SmartLogger uploads the tracker information and the SUN2000 inverter
information to the plant management system over the Ethernet.
NOTE
● Unified O&M
Huawei smart PV management system provides a dedicated management
module for the smart tracking algorithm to monitor the tracking system in
real time. For example, the management system proactively reports tracker
fault information, displays current tracking angle, and supports remote
control.
