    Waiver: I know that running a road race in a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume al risk associated with running in this event including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including icy/extreme cold, traffic, and the conditions of the road, all such risk being known and appreciated by me. Having read the waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act in my behalf, waive and release the LSSU Cabin Fever, the City of Sault Ste. Marie, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of my kind arising out of my participation in this event. The event director has the right to cancel this event in case of severe weather. Registration fees are non-refundable and nontransferable.

    Awards Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the kids fun run scheduled for 10 a.m. Door Prizes The local community has been a great supporter of the Cabin Fever Road Race. Almost everyone will win a door prize. Results Complete results will be posted on the Lake Superior State University Track and Field web page at www.lssulakers.com

    When Saturday, April 21, 2012, 9 a.m. Where Race begins and ends at LSSU Norris Centers indoor track
    The Course 2011 Turkey Trot and Cabin Fever Course! Begins on the indoor track and quickly exits through the bay door onto flat, fast bike path with limited turns. The course will be one loop, finishing at the bay door outside the indoor track. Volunteers will monitor road crossings and parking lots, but please still use caution. The course is flat and fast! Kids Fun Run The kids fun run will occur: Under 12 10 a.m. (1 Mile Run) Under 5 10:05 a.m. (200m race) 5 and older 10:05 a.m. (400m race) Clocks/Mile Markers Running time and mile markers will be at the one and two-mile marks, as well as the finish. Water/Aid Stations Water will be available prior to the start of the race. Afterward, fruit and refreshments will be served.

    Registration Information
    Entry 5k Run & Walk $20 prior to race day and must be received before April 8, 2011. Any other entry after April 8, 2011, will be $25. A family rate of $50 for families with 3 or more runners is available. An individual rate of $30 for both the 2011 Turkey Trot and 2011 Cabin Fever is also available. Please select appropriate box on entry form. Kids Fun Run $5 early registration or $10 on race day. Please note Kids Fun Run on Entry form. Packet Pick-up Packet pick-up and late registration will open at 7:30 a.m. in the Norris Center indoor track. Late registration and pick-up will close at 8:30 a.m. T-shirts The first 150 registered participants will receive an official race t-shirt. Sizes will be assigned as registrations are processed. So register early!
