Title: SmrtComp- Intelligent and Online CAN Data Compression

Description: SmrtComp aims to improve CAN bus data storage efficiency in modern vehicles through a combination of lo-
ssless and dynamic lossy compression, achieving 3.2× higher efficiency than competitors and outperforms popular
lossy algorithms by 94.33% in terms of RMSE and achieved line-speed compression with anomaly preservation.

- Implemented system calls like add, toggle, trace and ps in xv6, enabling seamless userspace-OS kernel interaction.
- Implemented unicast and multicast communication features in xv6, facilitating IPC and emulating multi-core
functionality through a distributed algorithm. Implemented real-time scheduling algorithms.
- Implemented ASLR in xv6 to mitigate Buffer Overflow attacks.
• Virtualization in XV6 (Prof. Smruti R Sarangi) April, 2023 - May, 2023
- Implemented low-level containerization in the xv6 operating system, based on UNIX-v6, by developing a container
manager, virtual scheduler, system calls, and resource isolation, including virtual file system and seamless
handling of create, read, update, and delete (CRUD) operations for the containers.
• GPSKey to establish secure Intra-Vehicle Communication (Prof. Vireshwar Kumar) March, 2023 - May, 2023
- Utilized GPS data from in-vehicle devices to establish a shared secret key, ensuring secure communication within the
vehicle, without requiring any user intervention.
