Eligible Qualification
Master of Sciences (18 Years) of education in Computer Sciences / Software
Engineering or in any other related discipline OR Bachelor Degree (16 Years) in
Computer Sciences / Software Engineering or in any other related discipline

Job Description & Required Experience


Master of Sciences (18 Years) of education in Computer Sciences / Software Engineering or
in any other related discipline with two (02) years post qualification relevant experience
OR
Bachelor Degree (16 Years) in Computer Sciences / Software Engineering or in any other
related discipline with four (04) years post qualification relevant experience

Candidate having the following skills and experience will be preferred:


 Experience in performing RDBMS software administration, configuration and maintenance of
PostgreSQL, Oracle & MS SQL Server database system ideally in Linux and Windows
environments.
 Monitor databases performance, implement tuning strategies, patches, and optimize database
operations.
 Responsible for writing complex queries, ETL, stored procedures/functions, Shell/Bash and
Python scripting, PL/PGSQL and environment.
 Maintain backup procedures/processes to ensure continuous availability and point in time
recovery.
 Perform database migrations, Backup and restore, managing schemas, replication.
 Working knowledge of Database platforms and its internal engine, storage and memory
architecture/processes (locking, consistency, transaction logging, etc.)
 Working Knowledge of dimension modeling OLAP structures, Data modeling, Data warehouse
and business intelligence.
 Collaborate with teams and other stakeholders to ensure database systems fulfill
requirements.
 Preference will be given to the candidates having experience as database administrator
in PostgreSQL, Oracle and MS SQL Server.
Candidates having higher/ foreign qualifications and having exceptionally good academic
record and job-related certifications will be preferred.
Quota: Merit / Punjab / Punjab(Minorities) / Sindh-R / Sindh-U / Balochistan
