Technical Description:

 Installing of Distribution of Linux OS like REDHAT, UBUNTU and CENTOS on servers.


 Basic knowledge on networking.
 Software installation method: YUM (Server-side Configuration) and RPM (Redhat Package
Manager).
 Managing user account creation, deletion and configuration.

 LVM (Logical Volume Manager): Extend the size of LVM, Reduce the size of LVM.

 Creating and configuring Ext4, XFS, NFS and CIFS file systems on Linux.

 Password aging policies, locking and unlocking user accounts.

 User Administration: Adding a new user account.

 Scheduling jobs using Cron and At jobs.

 Network Configuration, teaming and Troubleshooting.


 Knowledge on Network Bonding Configurations.

 Linux Security services: SSH (Secure Shell).


 User and group administration and advanced special permissions (SUID, GUID, STICKY BIT and
ACL)
 Knowledge of installing and configuring servers – SAMBA, HTTP(Apache), NFS, FTP, SQUID
PROXY, DHCP, DNS and KICKSTART.
 Having knowledge on Booting process.
