Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) For Fuel Delivery in Moungo Project Cubitainers
1. Objectif
The purpose of this procedure is to define the steps to be followed to ensure the safe, efficient
and compliant delivery of cubitainers containing fuel from the UCB distribution station to the
Moungo project site.
2. Scope
This procedure applies to all employees involved in the fuel delivery and consumption process
and concerns truck transport operations.

4. Responsibilities
• Truck drivers: Ensure the safe transport of cubitainers.
• UCB Station staff: Carry out quality control of fuel before loading.
• UCB Equipment Manager: Coordinate delivery and ensure that all steps are followed.
• Bhygraph: Receives and manages fuel.
5. Procedure
1. Delivery planning: Check the delivery note and ensure that all the information is correct (quantity
of fuel, destination, etc.).
3. Preparing cubitainers:
o Ensure that the cubitainers are clean, watertight and in good condition.
o Clearly label each cupola with the type of fuel and the associated risks.
1. Truck inspection: Check that the truck complies with safety standards (no leaks, safety
equipment in place, etc.).

2. Loading Cubitainers:
o Load the cubitainers onto the truck according to the loading plan.
o Ensure that the cubitainers are secured to prevent any movement during transport.
o Document the quantity of fuel loaded.
2. Transport safety:
o Comply with speed limits and regulations on the transport of dangerous substances.
o Have an emergency kit on board and know how to use it in the event of an incident.

o Inspect the cubitainers on arrival to ensure that they have not been damaged in transit.
o Carefully unload the cubitainers, following safety procedures.
3. Completion of Delivery:
o Complete all delivery documents and ensure that they are signed by the site manager.
o Keep a copy of delivery documents for tracking purposes.
7. SOP revisions
This SOP will be reviewed regularly and updated if necessary, in line with changes in regulations or
operational processes.

compliance during fuel delivery.
