Indigo Vision Control Center – ‘Replace Camera’

Log into the system with an account that has Administrator privileges and access ‘Setup’.

Ensure the new camera that is replacing the existing camera is on the network and is accessible.

Right-click on the camera you wish to replace and select ‘Replace Camera’:

Select the new camera from the Discovered Devices List:

If the device does not show in the discovered list but is reachable over the network it can be
manually added by entering the Device details.

If the new device uses different credentials from the previous, these will need to be updated – Right-
click on the device from the device list and select ‘Properties’:

Select ‘Device Access’ and under ‘ONVIF Authentication’ tick ‘Authenticate with device’ and enter
the Username and Password from the device (ONVIF account on cameras with a separate ONVIF
account):

Check all other Device Properties such as Live Video and Recording to ensure the recording job, NVR
and Live Viewing are still configured.

In the device list, the device that was replaced will appear under the new device to maintain the
previous recordings from the old device until the storage period has been reached.
