justKeyless

Dear Mr Ritesh Agarwal, here’s why justKeyless is the missing link between today’s “mobile keys” and truly
keyless hospitality.

Today’s keyless scene & why it fails guests

Attempted Keyless fix Fatal flaw Disappointing Result
BLE mobile keys (Marriott, Hilton) Phone must be present, powered, and Staff still issue plastic cards
app-installed
Wallet NFC keys (Hyatt) Phone still mandatory Plastic cards linger
Offline keypad locks (budget Hard to recall, still phone-
Random OTP + phone fetch
chains) dependent

THEREFORE, TODAY’S KEYLESS SOLUTIONS DOESN’T WORK IN ABSENCE OF MOBILE PHONE

Bottom line: Today’s “Advanced” solutions keep one foot in the plastic-card era; hence phone-free,
always-connected, truly keyless access still remains unsolved.

What’s non-negotiable for a real solution

1. Remote key creation & revocation—no extra gateways.
2. Guest self-enrolment onto lock device— from anytime, anywhere, on or before arrival.
3. Phone-free fallback options—no plastic cards ever.
4. Zero additional infrastructure at property—lock device alone does the job.
5. Always-online cloud control—real-time control power from hotel side.

What we’ve already built (patent pending)

• World’s first ultra-low-power Wi-Fi hotel lock—cloud-connected yet years of AA battery life.
• Primary unlock: BLE tap inside hotel app.
• Phone-free fallback: Guest-chosen mnemonic keypad codes (#TOMMY → 86669).
• Single battery-powered device—no cables, hubs, or repeaters at property level installation.
What are we building next (2025 → 26)
• Facial-ID keys on the same lock, privacy-first (embeddings stay on device).
• Full self-check-in API: ID + payment already digital; our key completes the flow.
• Kiosk killer: Replace a $20K kiosk with an iPad—or nothing in cashless properties.
• Low-cost locks version for Indian market. Maybe we can start with OYO :D

Where this can go

A guest-centric sticky hotel utility app—key access, shuttle tracking, local discovery—positioned to own
the stay and ultimately bypass OTAs. No guest app has ever solved keyless part with this intensity yet.

The ask
We’re raising US $330K pre-seed; $120K raised; Funds cover global patents, certification, first
production run, and a lean seven-person team for 12 months—enough to hit PMF and enter YC. More
than capital, we seek your strategic insight (alongside Sam Uncle) to scale boldly.
Jai Shri Ram.
