Chapter 7: Suggestions for Improvement
This chapter provides practical and technical suggestions based on my internship experience at Accredian. The
aim is to improve existing workflows, optimize resource usage, and drive better efficiency through innovation
and automation.
Currently, data is maintained across multiple platforms—Excel sheets, Google Sheets, LeadSquared, and third-
party payment portals. This leads to redundancy and delays in reporting.
Suggestion:
Implement a centralized cloud-based data warehouse (like Google BigQuery or AWS Redshift) with
automated ETL pipelines to unify student data, enrollment details, and incentive records.
Many tasks such as filtering enrollments or preparing TL-wise data are manually repeated every week.
Suggestion:
Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for repetitive actions. Use tools like Make (Integromat) or
Zapier for no-code automation of recurring data transfers and mail notifications.
Dashboards are extremely useful, but sometimes delayed due to data inconsistencies or manual data pulls.
Suggestion:
Implement a data validation script that runs before dashboard refresh. Schedule automatic data refreshes in
Power BI using APIs or Microsoft Power Automate.
37
7.2 Technology Stack Enhancements
1. Python-Based Automation
Most automations were done using Google Apps Script. While effective, scalability and error handling are
limited.

Many manual operations on LeadSquared like tagging, filtering leads, or calculating conversion ratios could be
automated using their API.
Suggestion:
Build a custom backend script that:
38
Suggestion:
Extend capabilities using:
Suggestion:
Implement a lead scoring ML model based on historical data to prioritize high-quality leads. Features may
include:
• Time of response
• Source of lead
• Engagement frequency
• Page views or demo requests
1. Interactive Elements
Add filters, slicers, and drill-down capabilities in Power BI to allow managers to analyze individual reps, TLs,
or teams.
2. Performance Heatmaps
Integrate color-coded maps to visually highlight underperforming regions or reps. This would help team
leaders in focusing efforts where needed.
39
3. Weekly Email Snapshots
Enable Power BI to send weekly PDF summaries to stakeholders so they don't need to log in daily.
1. Internal Wiki
A central place for training new team members on using dashboards, incentive systems, and automation
workflows.
2. Periodic Training
Monthly training sessions to explain dashboard updates, data interpretation, and automation upgrades.
3. Feedback Loop
