1. A company plans to establish a new manufacturing plant dedicated to producing eco-friendly
packaging materials. The project includes site selection, construction, equipment procurement,
staffing, and the initiation of production. The timeline for the project is 18 months, with a
budget of Birr 5 million. Using MS Project, develop a comprehensive project schedule that:

a. Outlines all construction tasks, milestones, and dependencies for the new
manufacturing plant.
b. Properly show the Work Breakdown Structure by inserting summary task to organize
the tasks
c. Indicate the duration, start, finish and predecessor
d. Include a Gantt chart to visualize the timeline and critical path analysis to identify
essential tasks that could impact the overall project completion.
e. If "Foundation construction (FC3)" is delayed by 10 days, how would MS Project
adjust subsequent tasks (e.g., FC4, FC5)? Demonstrate the steps to update this delay.
