You can use Engage for viewing and interacting with 3D models in VR.
Engage is a platform designed for virtual reality events, education, and
presentations. It supports various 3D model formats and provides tools to
create and present immersive experiences.

1. Export the .max File to a Compatible Format

Engage supports a variety of 3D file formats, but the most common formats to export your 3ds
Max file to for Engage are FBX and GLTF (as these are widely supported in VR platforms).
Here's how to export from 3ds Max:

• Open your .max file in 3ds Max.

• Go to File > Export or Export Selected.
• Choose the format:
• FBX: It is widely used and supported by
Engage.
• GLTF/GLB: A more efficient format for web-
based and VR platforms.
2- Upload the 3D Model to
Engage
Once you've exported your model to a compatible format, follow
these steps to upload it to Engage:

1. Create an Account and Log in to Engage:

• If you don't already have an account, you can create one at Engage's website.
• Log in to the platform via the Engage app or the desktop version.

2. Create a New Virtual Environment:

• Once logged in, create a new environment or use an existing one where you want to
place your 3D model.
• Engage offers various templates for environments like classrooms, galleries, or event
spaces.
2- Upload the 3D Model to
Engage

3. Upload Your 3D Model:

• Go to the "Assets" section in Engage and choose to upload your 3D model.
• Upload the FBX or GLTF file that you exported from 3ds Max.
• You can add textures, animations, and adjust scale during the import process if
needed.

4. Place the Model in the Environment:

• After uploading, you can place your model in the virtual environment.
• Position and scale the model as desired.
