In This Chapter
A well-designed PowerPoint presentation helps the audience understand complex
information while keeping them focused on your message. Color is an important
element that enhances your slides and draws the audience’s interest by creating
focus. When designing the background and element colors for your presentation,
be sure that the colors you use provide contrast so that the text is visible on the
background. Use elements such as images, shapes, and other graphics to enhance
your presentation and illustrate your message.

The projects in this chapter relate to Big Valley Ranch Entertainment Group, an
entertainment company that operates 15 Ranch style resorts across the United
States, Mexico, and Canada. This year the company will launch three of its new
“Wild West Parks” where attractions combine fun and the discovery of history
and science information, and where teens and adults enjoy the free Friday night
concerts. The company focuses on safe and imaginative attractions that appeal to
guests with a variety of entertainment interests, including adventure, science, and
the arts.
