College Tour Application

PROBLEM STATEMENT

College campuses are often large, with multiple buildings, departments, and
facilities spread across vast areas. New students, parents, and visitors
frequently struggle to navigate these spaces, leading to confusion and
inefficiency in finding their way around. This problem is exacerbated during
events, admissions, or when visitors are unfamiliar with the campus layout.

To address these challenges, there is a need for a comprehensive College


Tour Application that simplifies navigation, provides detailed campus
information, and enhances the overall experience for students, faculty, and
visitors..

Functional Requirement

1. User Authentication and Profiles:-Allow users to create and manage


personalized profiles Include role-based access
2. Interactive Campus Map:-Provide a detailed, interactive, and
searchable campus map.
3. Detailed Information About Campus:- Provide comprehensive
information about the college.
4. Event and Schedule Management Display and manage campus events
and schedules.
5. Facility Locator:-Help users locate specific facilities.
6. User Reviews and Ratings:-Allow users to share feedback and reviews
7. Admin Dashboard:- Allow administrators to manage application
content.

Non Functional Requirement


1. Easy to use: The application should be easy for students and parents
to use and navigate.
2. Security: The application should be designed with security and
privacy in mind, with appropriate measures to protect personal
information and prevent unauthorized access.
3. Performance: The application should be optimized for performance
and run smoothly on a range of devices, without lag or delays. The
application should be responsive and performant, even on low-end
devices.
4. Usability: The prototype should be designed with usability in mind,
with clear and concise instructions that are easy to understand.
