You are on page 1/ 4

Greetings Cadets, my name is John Fujimoto and I am going to be your first

intructor.
Just a reminder that PTS (permission to speak) is on, this basically means you
cannot speak without my permission.
(go cadet by cadet and say)
“WHAT ARE YOU CALLED CADET?!” “WHERE ARE YOU FROM CADET?!” “WHAT BRANCH ARE YOU
PLANNING TO JOIN?!”

Now for the Strike System, this is basically how we will be punishing you for any
offence.
The Strike system is the following:
Conscript: III Strikes and a warning = Dismissal
Phase I: II Strikes and a warning = Dismissal
Phase II: II Strikes = Dismissal
Top Cadet: I Strike = Dismissal

Do you have any questions?

Now for the Voices, voices are used during trainings etc.
On one hand, we have Indoor voice. You use this voice while inside, in places such
as cabins, mess halls, etc
You should try and use grammar to the best of your ability
ON THE OTHER HAND OUTDOOR VOICE IS LIKE THIS, YOU SPEAK IN FULL CAPS LACKING PROPER
GRAMMAR.
YOU USE THIS VOICE IN OUTDOOR AREAS, SUCH AS THE PIT.

Do you have any questions?

Now for the definitoon of PTS and Permission to Standby:

PTS stands for "Permission to Speak" When this is active you must ask for
permission to speak before doing so.
You would simply say "PERMISSION TO SPEAK SIR/MA'AM"
When asking for PTS, make sure that it is a valid and relevant question to the
training. Otherwise, you'll just waste time.
You must also always spell it out as Permission to speak and not PTS.
If you are late to the pit make sure to ask "PERMISSION TO FALL IN MA'AM/SIR"
If you want to go "AFK" in the middle of a training, you will have to ask
"PERMISSION TO STANDBY MA'AM/SIR."
Saying "Permission to go AFK" is considered metagaming, so if you say it your
request will be rejected.
When asking for permission to standby make sure that it is no longer than 5
minutes, otherwise it will also be rejected.
If you go on standby for longer than 5 minutes, you will be dismissed.
If your standby is not granted and you go on it without permission, you will be
dismissed.

Next are the Grammar Rules.

When you're being tested on faces, grammar will be active. This means that if is
face is said with incorrect grammar, you must not do it
Correct grammar would be: Left face. Right face. About face.
Only the 1st word should be capitalised, it must be spelt correctly and there must
be a period at the end.
Incorrect grammar would be: left Face. Abot face, Control Face.

Next, the Faces.

(ask the cadets)
"CADETS. DO YOU ALL KNOW YOUR FACES?"
So, those are the current faces:
Left face is a 90-degree turn [quarter of a full turn] to the left from your
current position
Right face is a 90-degree turn [quarter of a full turn] to the left from your
current position
Left incline is a 45- degree turn [half of a face] to the left of your current
position
Right incline is a 45 degree turn [half of a face] top the right from your current
position
About face is a 180 degree turn [simply turning around to face the opposite
direction from your current position]
Center face is turning towards the direction your host was in when they gave the
order.
Control face is when you continuously and constantly face the exact direction of
your host, if the host is on your head you spin around.
Only Center face can break Control face.

Do you have any questions?

Now i will begin testing your ability on the faces. Do all of the commands that i
say to you.
LEFT FACE.
LEFT INCLINE.
center FACE
CONTROL FACE.
RIGHT FACE.
CENTER FACE.
RIGHT FACE.
RIGHT INCLINE.
ABOUT FACE.
CENTER FACE.

Now, i will teach you guys about Chain Commands.

Chain commands are when several faces are put into one sentence and you must
perform them all in order
For example: Left face, right face, about face. First, you will have to do left
face then right face and end it with about face.

Do you have any questions?

Now i will begin testing your ability on the Chain Commands. Do all of the commands
that i say to you.
Center face, right face, left face, right incline, about face, left incline, right
face, right incline, control face, center face, right face.

Now i will teach you guys about High Rank Greetings.

It is important that you respect HR's and Instructors in and outside of training.
After you are called out to the pit and line up, your instructor will walk past and
stop in front of each of you.
You must greet them appropriately and salute them. the greeting should be done as
so:
"GREETINGS SIR/MA'AM/RANK"
If you encounter an elite squad member with their name hidden, you are not to call
them by their name, you must refer to them as agent.
High rankings you must also greet on contact can include Branch Commanders, HTI,
Royal Family and Government, You must be VERY Respectful to these individuals.
A perfect example would be: Greetings Assistant Head Instructor.
Do you have any questions?

Now i will be talking about Cadet Restrictions, which are:

Cadets are only permitted entry to the Trainee camp and Ceremonial [for special
occasions] (as of now there is no ceremonial).
Cadets are strictly prohibited from using muskets and gear, if you are caught you
will be punished.
Cadets are not allowed to wear any other clothing apart from the standard TC
uniform, Being caught will lead to a warning, then a punishment.
Punishments can include rank-locks, disciplinary trainings' and demotions in
extreme cases.
A ranklock is when you cannot attend trainings for a certain period of time.

Next, Lore Information:

First, Titan Biology:

Titans can range from 2-15 meters.
There are multiple different types of titans we see in combat including the
Mindless, Abnormal and Crawler, each range in difficulty during combat.
In order to kill a titan, you must strike the I meter long and 10 centimeter wide
nape spot on the back of the neck.

Second, History of the walls:

The walls are century old structures built by humanity to defend from the titans.
They are 50 meters high.
They are named Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina.
Due to the vast amount of walls, 4 districts were built on the periphery of each
wall.

Third, Important Military Personnel:

Our current Monarch is Antarc von Faust.
Our current Commander in Chief is Duncan Schwarz.
Our current Prime Minister is Kenji Okami.

Fourth, Branches:
There are 3 main branches, the Survey Corps, The Garrison and the Military Police.
Additionally there are the Trainee Instructors.
The Survey Corps are the wings of freedom, their main job is going outside the
walls, and dealing with Titan-related threats
This branch has the highest mortality rate; they often find themselves in very
dangerous situations
You may also find the Scouting Legion helping in the defence of the Walls alongside
with The Garrison
The Garrison are the shield of humanity. Their main job is to defend the walls
Assisting the survey corps with oncoming titan threats and often the MP. They are
considered the middle ground of the Military
The Military Police are the interior Branch. Their main duties reside within the
walls,
Dealing with more human threats such as rebels, district fights and similar, They
also work with the Garrison, they more often fight fellow Humans
The Trainee instructors are the building blocks of humanity, their job is to bring
Cadets to their biggest potential, and form them into great soldiers that will
benefit the Military and The Walls.

This concludes your training today, i will now be logging all of you that passed,
you are not free to leave yet.
(log everyone and shit)
