French Alphabets
The French alphabet has the same 26 letters as the English one:
A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z
- Rouge = Red
- Bleu = Blue
- Jaune = Yellow
- Vert(e) = Green
- Noir(e) = Black
- Blanc(he) = White
- Orange = Orange
- Rose = Pink
- Gris(e) = Grey
- Marron = Brown
(Note: 'Marron' and 'Orange' are invariable - don't change for gender.)
French adjectives agree in gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural) with the noun they
describe.
Examples:
Common adjectives:
- Grand(e) = Tall
- Petit(e) = Small
- Jeune = Young
- Bon(ne) = Good
