CLASS -IX

SST (Social Science)

Create a Time Capsule


What to do:
 Pick 5 key events in history (can be global or Indian history) and create a "time
capsule" that includes letters, newspaper clippings, and artifacts (images, objects, etc.)
that represent those events.
 Write a short letter for each event, explaining why you think it’s important and how it
changed history.
How to do:
 Present the items in a small box, folder, or file with clear labeling and explanations.
Be creative in how you represent the events.

SCIENCE
 Create a scrapbook: “3 Real-Life Science Scenes” – one each from biology, physics,
and chemistry chapters (e.g evaporation, distance/ displacement, motion, poultry etc.).
 Choose 1 chapter and write a experiment _ example: food pipe model (Atomic
models, onion peel, beljar experiment, etc)
How to Do:
 Label, and explain.
 Add pictures or drawings of your model/experiment.

ENGLISH

Write a Letter to Your Future Self


What to do:
 Write a letter to your future self. Talk about your dreams, goals, challenges, and the
person you want to become in the next 10 years.
How to do:
 Be reflective and creative. You can include questions for your future self or things you
hope to have achieved by then.

MATHS

Math Art
What to do:
 Use shapes and patterns (e.g., polygons, fractals, circles) to create a math-inspired
piece of art. It can be a geometric design, a tessellation, or even a creative graph.
How to do:
Use a variety of tools like rulers, compasses, and protractors to create precise shapes. Label
the mathematical terms (angles, sides, etc.) that you used in your design

A. HINDI

"My Favorite Story" Creative Presentation


What to do:
 Choose a short story from your favorite Hindi literature or folk tale. Retell the story in
your own words using a comic strip format or a digital presentation (like
PowerPoint).
How to do:
 Illustrate scenes from the story. Use different characters’ voices and styles to bring
the story to life in a creative way.

MORAL SCIENCE

Ethical Dilemma Debate


What to do:
 Choose an ethical dilemma (e.g., “Is it right to break the law for a good cause?” or
“Should animals be used in experiments?”). Write a short essay presenting both sides
of the argument.
How to do:
 After presenting both sides, share your personal stance and the reasoning behind your
decision.

COMPUTERS

Build a Simple Website (HTML + CSS)


What to do:
 Learn the basics of HTML and CSS and create a simple personal website or a
portfolio.
 Include sections such as Home, About Me, and Contact.
How to do:
 Use free online resources like W3Schools or Codecademy to learn HTML and CSS
basics. You can use free website builders like Wix if needed.
 Note-
 Make a single file for all subjects
 Name it portfolio
 Add an introductory page containing your information.
 Both video and portfolio is compulsory.
