(ii) ratio of S and S’.
(iii) surface area of the sphere if r is equal to 21 cm.
33 In a parallelogram ABCD, E and F are the 5
mid-points of sides AB and CD,
respectively (see figure). Show that
the line segments AF and EC trisect
the diagonal BD.

ABCD is a rectangle and P, Q, R and S
are mid-points of the sides AB, BC, CD and DA,
respectively. Show that the quadrilateral PQRS is a rhombus.

34 The following table gives the distribution of students in two sections according to the 5

marks obtained by them.

(i) Represent the marks of the students of both sections on the same graph by two
frequency polygons.
(ii) From the two polygons, compare the performance of the two sections.

35 ABCD is a cyclic quadrilateral whose diagonals intersect at point E. If ∠DBC = 70°, 5

(iii) If AB = 6 m, then find the value of BC + CA
