ABSTRACT

The summer training program about organizational study has undergone at


CROWN INDUSTRIES, THIRUTHUVAPURAM. Organization study is an effort towards
understanding the organization, its policies, structure and function. It gives a brief description
of the overall functioning of the company. The study is being an attempt to know how decisions
are made and how work is organized.

During the study employees give sufficient details about how people
perform within the organization. The main objective of the organization is to understand the
working environment and various functions of the organization. The data has been collected
through direct observation and company records.

The organization has departments like finance, human resources,


development department and testing department. Each department functions, their
responsibilities and their duties has been clearly mentioned.

The study employs two essential analytical tools, namely SWOT analysis to
evaluate the organizations strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats. Then PESTEL
analysis to evaluate political, economical, social, technological, environmental and legal factors

The study has revealed some negative and challenging side of the company.
Also, the study helped to attain learning experience and skill development.
