SCRIPT
A script is a written plan for a movie.
It tells the story.
It includes what the characters say and do.
Everyone in a film uses it: actors, directors,
and crew.
Why is a Script Important?

It gives structure to the film.


It helps actors know their lines.
It tells the camera crew where to film.
It shows how each scene looks.
Parts of a Script
Scene heading (where and when the
scene happens)
Action (what is happening)
Character names
Dialogue (what characters say)
What is a Scene Heading?

If it is inside or outside (INT. or EXT.)


The place (CLASSROOM, PARK)
The time (DAY or NIGHT)
