Project: RADAR (Risk and Data Analytic Reporting)

Domain: Banking (Risk)
Client: HSBC Bank (Global)

Project Details:

➢ RADAR is a framework for our Global Risk and Finance processes, centered around curated data sets and a
cloud-based architecture. The core principle is to reuse data in the cloud via on-Cloud APIs and views,
eliminating the need for re-ingestion. Data Assets within RADAR align with the Group Data Strategy and are
created by Global Businesses and Functions. It serves as the Risk and Finance-owned set of Data Assets.
Following the Group-wide Data on Cloud Reference Architecture (DOCRA), RADAR includes virtual copies
of data from other Global Businesses required by Risk and Finance. Initially, some RADAR Data Assets may
come from Global Business systems, but as businesses undergo cloud transformations, direct ingestion by
Risk and Finance becomes unnecessary. Enables Risk and Finance to operate independently while
facilitating data exchange by providing Global Businesses access to RADAR-generated Data.
➢ Responsibilities:
• Designing and architecting scalable systems using Java, ensuring they met business requirements while
prioritizing maintainability and flexibility.
• Conducting thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best
practices, and design principles, while mentoring junior developers and providing constructive

GIT, ensuring collaborative and streamlined development processes.
• Utilizing build tools like Maven and Ant to automate the build and deployment
processes, ensuring consistency across development and production environments.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex issues within applications, utilizing advanced debugging
techniques, profiling tools, and log analysis to ensure system stability.
