Instructions for Open elective Registration

Semester 7 – ODD Semester 2025-2026

15.5.2025

Academic Coordinators and CCs (Third year UG) to inform the students
concerned /confirm the following:

1. Students are not registering the same open elective registered by them
during semester 6, for semester 7.

2. Students shall NOT register for an OE offered by their parent dept.


3. Students shall not register for an OE course which they already studied / to
study in semester 7 (or that cover majority of same syllabus contents) in
their core course/ professional elective course/ NPTEL/ Industry oriented
course/ Hons/ Minor courses.

4. U19EE1003- Innovation, IPR and Entrepreneurship Development offered


from EEE dept, EEE students can also register for this course.
5. CSE, CSD, AML, IT, ADS students shall NOT register for open elective
courses offered by CSE and IT departments.
6. Students who have studied U19ME1004- Renewable Energy Sources (Mech
course) as open elective in Semester 6 shall NOT register for U19EE1004-
Renewable energy systems (EEE course) in semester7.
7. Students who have studied U19EE1004- Renewable Energy Systems (EEE
course) as open elective in Semester 6 shall NOT register for U19ME1004-
Renewable energy sources (Mech course) in semester7.
8. 14 (7B+7G) NCC students shall NOT register for OE course in forthcoming
semester 7 (list already circulated).
9. 25 EPICS completed students shall NOT register for OE course in
forthcoming semester 7 (list already circulated).
10. Inform the above points to Third year Class counselors and their
students before the registration date.
