SPECIFICATIONS FOR PROJECT SYNOPSIS REPORT CSE (Data

Science)

1. Report shall be computer typed and printed on good quality white executive bond paper A4 size
paper according to following text specifications:
 Normal Body Text: Font Size: 12, Times New Roman, Single Spacing, Justified. 3 point
above and below paragraph spacing
 Paragraph Heading: Font Size: 14, Times New Roman, Underlined, Left Aligned. 6 point
above & below spacing.
 Chapter Heading: Font Size: 20, Times New Roman, Centre Aligned, 12 point above and
below spacing.
 Coding: Font size: 10, Courier New, Normal
2. The Report shall be hard bound in black color. The name of the candidate, degree (specifying the
branch), roll no, session, year of submission, name of the University including college name shall
be printed in golden color on the cover [Refer sample sheet (outer cover)]
3. The report shall be typed on one side only with 1.5 spaces with a margin 3.5 cm on the left, 2.5 cm
on the top, and 1.25 cm on the right and at bottom.
4. In the report, the title page [Refer sample sheet (inner cover)] should be given first then the
declaration by the candidate(s) in sequence, followed by an abstract of the report (not exceeding
1500 words). This should be followed by the acknowledgment, list of figures/list of tables and then
contents with page numbers. All text pages should be numbered at the bottom center of pages.
5. References and Bibliography should be included in report. Format is written below:
Books:
[1] Author surname Author Name, Title of book, Place of Publication, Publisher, Year of
Publication, Number of pages referred from “________to_______”
Magazine & Journals/ Newspaper
[2] Author(S), Title of__________, Volume Number, Serial Number, Year of issue, Page number
Internet
[3] Name of the site, Article Name, Name of the Author
6. The diagrams should be printed on a light/white background; Tabular matter should be clearly
arranged. Decimal point may be indicated by full stop (.)The caption for Figure must be given at the
BOTTOM of the Fig. and Caption for the Table must be given at the TOP of the Table.
7. Conclusions must not exceed more than two pages.
8. The student will submit his/her project report in the prescribed format. The Project Report should
include SPIRAL BINDING of the Synopsis of this mini–Project Report after approval.

1. INTRODUCTION
Work Flow management is a fast evolving technology which is increasingly being exploited by businesses
and in a variety of industries.
Its primary characteristics is the automation of process involving combinations of human and
machine based activities, particularly those involving interaction with IT applications and tools. Although
its most prevalent use is within the office environment in staff intensive operations such as insurance,
banking, legal and general administration, etc. it is also applicable to some classes of industrial and
manufacturing.

Many types of product in the IT market have supported aspects of workflow functionality.

Workflow has been closely associated with image systems and many image systems have workflow
capability either built-in or supplied in conjunction with a specific workflow product.
